How many people prefer the originals compared to the remakes ??

I usually prefer the originals, whether it's film or music

 

There are occasions when a remake can be really good, but all too often, irrespective of genre or origin, the remake just falls flat or is jsut a complete and cynical attempt at a cashgrab. But there are exceptions to the rule, where they can be equally as good or even become the definitive version.

All a bit of a roll of a dice, which is surprising as there is a literal template to work from - and that doesn't mean having to replicate the original, shot for shot (looking at you, Gus Van Sant's 1996 version of Psycho, lol).
