Not sure if it's controversial or not, but I don't want us to buy the 6 or 7 players everyone else is adamant we need... I'd rather we bought 3 * crackers and use the kids around them - Ralston, Welsh, Monty, Moffat etc... I think that we'd dismantle more teams with absolute talent than we'll lose by having a 'weakened' squad... Get in 1 more at January, or preferably 2, and we'd dismantle the Huns/good teams in the big matches

If Ryan Christie is sold he will be a bigger loss to the team than many give him credit for, or care to admit.
He will equally be difficult to replace, regardless if money is granted for squad reinvestment.

I'm 99% convinced the bad blood in this comes from Celtic refusing to give him a fair contract.

I reckon he was on about £6k for years and they offered him something paltry like £9k and then make him the villain for turning down the contract.

    We sure showed him, eh?

Time will be/has been kind to Rodgers and I only hold a small amount of resentment to the big nosed rat *. I can understand why he left giving what he was working under but his timing will remain shocking

He left after months of warning us that the board was * about, only for the support to bury their heads in the sand and continue chanting about Ten in a Row.

I don’t blame him at all for when he walked. He really was out there alone.

If we lose to the sheep then the manager should be punted.

My issue with that would be who replaces him. I have less faith in Gordon Strachan that I do in Ange. He needs to get the next window imo.

The board being who they are doesn't make Rodgers any less of a * for when he left. Leicester said they were willing to wait until the end of the season.

and our board decided to put 10 in a row in jeapordy by taking the £9m instead

they gambled our 10 in a row for £9m and a nda to shut rodgers up about their plans of downgrading the football dept

our board were never gonna allow him to leave and blab at the end of the season

You’ve lost me sorry mate. £9m for what, Rodgers? I thought it was six. He was on a lengthy deal so Leicester would have had to pay compensation regardless.

£9m is what Leicester paid for him and his team to take him there and then, the board didnt need to let him go there and then but decided to put in jeapordy 8 inarow never mind 9 and ten

your asking a lot if you thought any top manager was gonna sit on his hands at celtic and allow them to damage his reputation because they werent supporting him with what he asked for, infact it could be said they were hanging him out to dry

look at the aek athens debacle the not properly recruiting for the team yet again, then in january signing scved wasting £3m and wages of fans hard earned for some * the manager didnt ask for or want, a board room who think their playing football manager

The state of the board has partially exonerated Rodgers but not fully. He did have the option of staying on to finish the season and you feel he'd want to do that as a professed 'Celtic man'. Him wanting to accept an offer to manage at Leicester was never the issue, not for me at least.
