Watching back the Road to Seville makes him look like one of our best players :56:

Must confuse the life out of the youngsters watching it, cos the guy takes a slagging :56:

Big Ange should bring Paddy Roberts home.

Sylla actually wasn’t a bad player. Limited technically but pacey and awkward.

Too selfish a player; wouldn't fit.

I really don’t like the new Celtic Scooter song. ‘Follow Celtic all over the world’ last line doesn’t fit and sounds off. Maybe because Scooter were a cheesy kids Rave band to me in the 90s. I’m more an acid house man myself. Probably more an age thing.

Good players can adapt and acclimatise quickly to any system. He’s probably matured a lot as a player in the time he’s been away from us, so I’ve no doubt his game now is more well-rounded and not all about him trying to be the English Lionel Messi.

Could be a shout, always associate him with the 90’s in my head though. Forgot he was here till 2001

It’s like Big Morten Weighworst, always forget he was still here for MON’s Treble

Mate....* Rest Tommy Burns....but oh my * was he tactically lacking when it came to anything to do with defence. In 1996 we played Hamburg in the UEFA Cup. He played Thom, Di Canio, Van Hooijdonk and Cadete all in the same team in both games and we got humped 0-3 in both ties. He bought into "The Celtic Way" of playing way too much.

He took it as just go all out attack and forget about defending all together. Gorum would keep us out all game and then Laudrop would get the baw and run through the massive hole in the centre of our defence and score. Repeat.

Just watched a video on YouTube there. After Di Canio signed, he came out of the entrance to the stadium holding a scarf and shouts: "it's a grand old team to play for!" to the cheering fans. Brilliant! :)

That was the year when he took that brain injury. Gerome Barry Syndrome. Nearly died so he did. I think he made a couple of camio appearances in games at the end of the season long after the league had been wrapped up

After witnessing his attitude and desire in his wee cameo at the weekend, I reckon Ajeti could work in this team.

He’d definitely score goals with games but I think there’s maybe more to him than I (and most others) gave him credit for.

I really don't get some of the stick he gets, maybe it's because he comes off as bit sulky at times but I think he's a better striker than Edouard and Griffiths.

I see Edouard as more of someone who plays off a striker or a number 10.

What makes you believe he's a better striker than either of those two?

    Genuine question.
