    It says a lot about the Rodgers effect that any season from 2010 till this summer I'd have been buzzing about us getting Snodgrass but now I'm not so sure.

    would be a massive signing here ,easily hulls best player and scored vital goals for them ,could easily benefit all epl sides apart from top 4 /5 .

    Are people genuinely trying to tell me they wouldnt take Robert Snodgrass on a pre contracr agreement? A man who has been pretty much the only shining light for Hull this year? Absolutely crazy man. He would be great up here.

    I have to say I wouldn't want him. He doesn't fit the required model for us. Big wage, coming 30 in September next year, not much sell on potential when he's 32-33. Few years back it would have been a no brainer. Now though not so much.

    And as far as I'm aware, Hull can extend his contract by 12 months if they want to and I would say they will so they get a decent fee.

    Maybe because he doesn't see where Snodgrass fits.

    He's not going to play out wide for us when we have Sinclair and Forrest who both have pace to burn. Rogic is a fantastic player for us in behind the striker.

    He doesn't fit anywhere.

    We have to be careful signing someone like Snodgrass . He may turn out to be a valuable playing member and hence good value , if his wages are anyway reasonable . On the other hand I think us ordinary supporters haven't the knowledge to know whether he can give us 2/3 years good service as a player , so as far as supporters are concerned we shouldn't be too sure & leave it to the experts to decide

    not sure our model is as black and white as that now and im glad its not. i'd rather we got players who are tried and tested than unknowns who may or may not work out.

    He must be raging. Was gonna get a move to a better club in the summer whether that was us or a higher up English team and they've just went and activated a years extension on his contract and made it look like he's signed a new deal.
