    Totally correct. Anyone that's watched him closely over past 3-4 seasons can clearly see he's been better, and wasn't at races for Scotland in comparison to previous caps.......but really was only 80% at best.

    I'm sure he's actually played few games as the 10, has outstanding work rate also so BR if he did pursue the signing would get mileage out him if he needed him to sit in a more holding role also as good at taking on info/positional sense if ever needed.

    Only issue would be the injuries creeping in but perhaps that's a bit unfair to mention that.

    Would be a great signing, we now have the appeal for players instead of money having Rodgers as boss and CL football. He would complete our forward line.

    I have seen some donkeys in my time and Snodgrass is def one of them. Hope he never ever ever ever puts on a Celtic jersey. He is one of Strachans main downfalls. :31:

    I am not sure about Snodgrass , Celtic fan reared up beside stadium , good player but I am not sure he is a great player . I think we have players like Christie Miller Nesbitt & others who could quite soon be better than him . If Brendan signs him I will be backing Snodgrass all the way , if he doesn't I will not bat an eye

    Nothing would make me happier than seeing Aidan Nesbitt make it at Celtic, but I just can't see it. He's 19 now and isn't exactly standing out in the Championship for Morton, plus his loan spell at Partick didn't work out too well. I'll be surprised if we see him in the first team on a regular basis.

    I'd take him but not as a winger as I've said before.

    He's playing as a CAM now for them and that is how I'd see him playing for us. Could still get a few years out him but the injuries are also a worry.

    Would it be fair to expect him to have a similar sort of impact as Commons?
    I watch zero English football and I don't watch Scotland so I don't really know too much about Snodgrass other than hes a good signing for Celtic in FIFA.

    Kind of.

    He is a more hard working player than Commons though but possesses the same kind of ability to score out of nothing. Great delivery on him too. He's always struck me as being more suited to attacking midfield than the wing, another similarity with Commons, who wasn't always a CAM.

    He's always wanted to play for us and I just get the feeling now is the time. Even though I'm not overly fussed either way, there is no denying he'd be fantastic in the SPL and a solid addition to the overall squad.

    Commons is 4 years older and is not suited to Rodger's style.

    Snodgrass is, IMO. Always been a worker.

    Would we/Rodgers play him over Rogic in that position though (CAM)? Think it would be unfair to oust a promising young player for a guy who's heading into his 30's?
