I wonder are they bumming him up and giving him a cap to make sure he never plays for Ireland

Wouldnt be suprising. Both countries seem to be desperate for upcoming decent young keepers at the moment

what's the situation with this lad, not a single appearance for us yet is getting capped internationally?.

has he showed anything that could suggest he'd make it here?

He's not even close to making the breakthrough yet, guys like Bain and Gordon would be streets ahead of him. Experience is vital for any player but especially a keeper. He had a good loan at Falkirk in the season past, and has been progressing nicely in the NI setup.

He's also had two contract extensions over the past two seasons, which shows he's rated by the club. My guess is he's in Rodgers' long term plans but not immediately ready for the step up, which isn't concerning, he's got plenty of time. My guess is he'll get a full season loan somewhere to show what he can do over a full year at a pro club.

Few decent saves in that second half against Liege.

Am sure i seen him actually save from a close range header and catch and hold it ,not sure if that is something u see every day ,it certainly got my attention ,but lack of experience can cauz your game to be erratic going from brilliant to clumsy as a keeper ,but i like wot i saw .

Far better performance than last year against Lyon.

Saved a penalty for Northern Ireland U21’s last night in a 2-1 win over Spain. Seemingly he was outstanding all night.

I know by reading a few pieces and what some have said on here he is very highly rated at Celtic defiantly a good 18 months on loan and see how he goes.

Who is the better keeper out of him and Doohan, I’ve heard Doohan has been doing very well at Ayr?

    Good to hear..

    That's 3 good one's coming through..

Actually thought Hazard looked the better of the 2 from the youth's whenever I've seen them but good stuff..

    We've 3 good young options.

Hazard seems to be the most likely to get a sniff at first team games.

Followed by Doohan, and young Ryan Mullan is very talented.
