Well, if he wants regular playing time, then Ange is the one to talk to.

 

Last time Ange signed a German midfielder it was for Brisbane Roar...and the rest became history.

 

Highlights look like a cross between Hatate (pops up everywhere on the pitch) and Jota (in terms of ability to take players on) so erm aye. A right sided Hatate/Jota would be ideal to add to the squad, would get plenty of minutes on the pitch.

 

How close are we to getting him, when I saw the name Chris Scott assumed it was some wee prospect fae castlemilk

I think I read that Bayern have taken an option on a year extension. Player still wants to leave apparently.

 

Is that not just so they get a fee rather than him leave for nothing?

Obviously we never want to turn down chances to sign any promising talent....but is he really needed.

With what we have in midfield with Rogic, O'Riley, McGregor, Hatate, Ideguchi*, Turnbull all showing capable abilities in a similar position, should we not focus more on any potential talent out there that would fit better in the holding/defensive midfielder?

We simply don’t need yet another number 10.

 

If we reckon this kid is better, or will be better, than what we already have then that’s what matters.

 

Need to balance building for the future and not flooding the squad with players of the same position when, for instance, we don’t possess a single LB of the required quality for the level we want to be at.

If we’re going to try to audaciously poach a top European wonderkid, let it be for a position we actually need filled.
