Because if he doesn't play then we cant play Ajer at rightback and Fringpong will play right back. We need to be solid and have height in the team. They are dangerous from set pieces and we are * at defending them

 

Hopefully it's just bruising and nothing else. A few pain killing injections will have him ready to do battle.

True. Years ago players would often play with an injury as they desperately wanted to play in this fixture. There's also that worry that taking the needle can lead to problems later on in life.

 

It does if they’re taking it in the arm into a vein.

 

As someone with a * knee that struggles doing certain tasks nevermind playing 90 minutes of football, could you tell me of these miracle injections so I can inform my doctor on Monday.

 

I too have dodgy knees m8 and I am on the waiting list for a complete right knee replacement. Over the years I have been given steroid injections which do help to tackle the pain a bit but not the actual arthritis.

 

Steriod injections still wouldn’t help with an impact injury, I’m also waiting on an operation after falling in work but * knows when it will happen. But I can’t see Jullien starting against them especially given it only happened on Wednesday.

 

Changed days! There career is more important than winning for us in important games. Years ago you'd have players trying to play with a bad injury just to get on but not now. Even there agents will be telling them to sit this one out. I hope he's training away in the background out of sight and will play. It did look a sore one alright but times I've hurt myself something similar and been ok a few days later. Hoping this is the same and he plays. Definitely a big miss if he's out!
