I know when our team plays well it means 3 games a week, its good fun for the fans, but surely this is just too much? 9 Games in December alone. Aberdeen in the cup final and Barcelona at home in the CL in the week ending November, then a huge break in January. I think Rodgers is going to be made to pull more starting 11's like last night away to Ross County to cope where he HAD to make 8 changes. Rodgers has said a few times now "The team that finish the game will be more important than the 11 who start" And I think last nights 4-0 win proves he is right. Don't think I have seen so many games in 1 month, and tons of high profile games along the way too...Will we see more of Commons etc in this period? Unreal....but the price of success I guess. Also, the gap between Rangers and Hearts...Is this a Winter break I missed? If so, it's something we will need. If we can keep winning domestic as we are, only 2 points dropped and in the League Cup final, if we can keep the consistancy up, chance our luck in the CL, you never know. I think come January we will see a few players who's contracts end in the Summer leave or be let go. And we 100% need a few Central Midfielders who are ready to go in the CL Qualifiers next Summer. Looking forward to all this, but what we going to do in January? Watch Cricket? :54:

They've cancelled all out games to try and allow someone to catch up.:84:

Is this the new official 'Winter Break' or some error on the site?
    I am clueless....
That aside, why is there a 4 week break?

That winter break bypassed me also! I agree with it in principle, but it does make January even longer!:54:

We have a strong enough squad to rotate like we did last night.

We must focus on the most important games and if that means fielding a reserve side in the fixture before an important game I'm fine with that.

We'll probably have a couple of friendly games like we've done in the past, I remember we played Atheltic Bilbao I think a couple of seasons ago (dunno if that was in winter).

They'll probably go away for a training camp somewhere warm too, like Spain

Done Turkey one year and got beat by Galatasaray in the final on pens, and another year we played the likes of Steau Bucharest in Spain..

Pretty sure they were both in January?

Bangura and Balde scored on both trip's :56:

Hamilton And Partick at home are games where ST holders can get 2 additional tickets (free, for one of the games).

Around that time of year, it's a good stance by the club to entice fans to games.

These fixtures you would think forces us into having two players for each positions.

Apart from Man City, nothing too difficult there,we have the squad to handle that,we could effectively have 2 decent teams, all match fit.

The more cynical amongst us might question why after such a heavy period we have to play the manks in the bigotdome at the end of the month...

I'd play the development squad in that game.
