Me too as if he is as good as a lot of people say and is similar to Paddy Roberts then the money is going to be a lot more than 5 million.

 

There is no Roberts situation. The only people expecting more from the deal are on here.

 

Just pointing out supporter and probably rodgers would have prefer ed to have owned roberts got two seasons of him developed him gave him champions league experience most we got out of it was having a very good player for two seasons usually when we have a good player for two seasons we are rewarded handsomely I transfer fees instead we made money most likely for man city

The video with him and ronaldo is scary! I’m in no way comparing him to him but he looks like he must watch him closely and try’s to take ronaldos style of play into his game. Most of the clips showed similar moves in similar positions

 

See dembele for 500k what makes this kid worth more ? Because he’s at Chelsea and not Fulham? Or was it because he had a stint in La Liga? You may see other country’s teams spending 5 plus on youth at other clubs who have hardly kicked a ball for the first team but not here 5 is way to much I would offer lower with ad ons for appearances and a certain percent for a sell on fee

 

Yup I agree try before you buy we can all see he has something but what if he comes here stays a season has the attitude he’s above and better than this and there’s fall outs I can see it right away. Thats all fine and well. The thing is the kid is very highly rated. We certainly wont be the only club looking at him. I dont even think 5 million will be enough, unless there is a buy back clause. I cant see Chelsea making a Lukaku, De bruyne style * up again.

 

We only got Dembele at that price because of the cross border rule. He was going to cost £6/£7 million if he stayed in England.

 

the 500k for dembele was compensation as we was out of contract. musonda is still contracted with chelsea until 2019
