Would be an outstanding signing. Looked class at Betis.

Don't know why Chelsea cancelled the loan then bombed him in the reserves.

 

Chelsea appear to have delivered an ultimatum to starlet Charly Musonda ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to Belgian football journalist Sven Claes, the Blues have told Musonda to commit his future to the club or seek a permanent transfer elsewhere.

Musonda has spent the second half of the season as part of Antonio Conte’s squad, but has not been used by the Italian in that time.

A player of his age, at just 20-years-old, needs to be playing regular first-team football; and Conte is not going to be able to guarantee that to Musonda at this stage of the Belgian’s career.

There is no doubting Musonda’s potential, he has all the skill-set to go right to the very top of the footballing ladder. However, if he is not willing to commit to Chelsea by penning a new contract, we ought to cash-in. There would likely be no shortage of potential suitors if he does decide to leave.

Looks like he would rather pass than take a shot, as if he's unsure at his shooting skills. Great pace, but I wonder if he would struggle against packed defences. Technique is very good, decent player imo.

 

Rodgers would sort that out.

I seen on the celticrumours page last week that he was taking a tour of the stadium and up here for talks but obviously took it with a pinch of salt but maybe there is something in it.

 

I know it could be made up pish but getting linked with people like Musonda and Solanke is much more like it.

Exactly the type of players we should be after.

Don't want another Roberts situation where the player does well here and we could lose out on getting them back. If they look promising enough which Musonda does then we should get him on a permanent deal and then if other teams want him they have to give us big money for us to sell.

 

Apparently Conte wants rid of him if he doesn't sign a new deal, doubt it would be a loan. How much would he cost though? Could easily be talking higher than our transfer record on this guy, but he looks fantastic and exactly what we're missing. A fast skillful hard worker behind the striker.

 

Looks decent and for all he probably will go on to be a good player, he just looks a downgrade on Onyeruku... Paddy as well..

No sure on this as he'd expect to come here and be first team..

 

Think he looks quality. Good pace, vision and passing.

Musonda's highlights are taken from probably the best league in the world, while Onyekuru is playing in Belgium (still a decent league) and paddy is tearing up teams in Scotland. Hard to work out who would be the more effective player
