    I think it was against Ireland a few year ago they were playing in Switzerland and he had one of the worst performances I’ve ever seen.

    Reminds me of that night we needed Barca to help us out and not let Benfica go away with all 3 (which we thought was a cert) and Benfica battered them that night but drew 0-0, and we got through with that pen off the underside of the bar. What a night that was…not sure we will ever make the last 16 again.

    Man City no buying a striker in the summer will come back to haunt them this season. They create loads of chances, but squander far too many. I wouldn’t have went for Kane right enough, but I can’t believe they didn’t bring one in. Jesus isn’t good enough either.

    There is a possibility for 3 Portuguese teams in the knockout stage:
    i) Sporting qualified;
    ii) Benfica needs to beat Dynamo Kiev at home and hope Barcelona does not win in Munich;
    iii) Porto needs to beat Atlético Madrid at home.
