Just heard that in the future they are planning to move the Champions League kick-off times to 6pm and 8pm. Like they do in the Europa League. If we end up playing on the same night as Manchester Utd and Arsenal you can have a pretty good guess at which 'British' club will be the one to get the short straw and have their kick-off time moved to 6pm.

Good luck to all those who work till 5.30pm or 6pm on a week night.

What's their reasoning for changing the kick off times? To make it better for fans in the Americas and Asia?

Not sure, Minters. I would guess that by staggering the kick-off times they will be hoping to attract bigger TV audiences and more money.

Surely the best way to maximise the revenue, which is the only reason there doing it would be to put the two English teams that would attract the bigger audience at different times meaning people could watch both. So it shouldnt affect us like that.

So they are actually going to ditch nation co-efficients, about time. It's bullshit that since they introduced that national efficiency score that we've been dragged down by the likes of Aberdeen, St Johnstone, Hearts and ICT who are lucky to get to a Europa group stage. Just a pity it won't kick in for about 5 or 6 years.
