I'm confident of taking points at home. The big results we've had have still had some * in the lineup.. Efe played against Barca. Caldwell at the back against the likes of Utd and AC as well! This squad we have now has the potential to be the best in a long time. bring it on.

 

Kinda standard are Borrusia, have we got any chance at 4 points from them?

 

Their front 2 look class, Hazards brother and some Brazilian, that look more than capable of ripping us apart together

 

To be fair, he never said when it would get invested back into the team. If it pays for the wages in the 2019 season it is still being invested back into the team.

 

Borussia are a quality team. They beat Young Boys 9-2 in qualifying, last year they were in a group with City, Sevilla, and Juventus. They drew with Juve twice, beat Sevilla 4-2, and in their home game with city they blew them away in the first half, but got sucker punched and lost from then on. Eden Hazard's brother plays for them, and Raffael their front man looks dangerous. That said, they sold their best player (Xhaxa) and another decent CM so hopefully we are in with a shout against them, but it is definitely the joint hardest pot 3 team we could have gotten.

 

Very good side, but we can definitely beat them.

The double header vs them will be pivotal.

Hazards brother looks like he's creeping up on him in terms of quality.
They do look beatable at home without doubt as they all are , but I wouldnt be overly disappointed if we came away from Germany empty handed

 

It's not unrealistic to say that we could win any of our home games
so let's say we win one =3 points
Let's say we can draw another =1 point
All the away games will be very difficult so I can only see us getting 1 draw away= 1 point

My group prediction is 4 points

Can see us getting a historic win versus Man City, and at least a draw from the 2 Barcelona games. A dont know how the 2 games against Gladbach will turn out, but we beat Wolfsburg who are of about the same quality as them.

I hope Man City and Borussia M totally underestimate us. Hopefully they don't take us seriously and end up leaving Glasgow rather embarrassed.
