Find it difficult to have any pleasure in seeing Man City winning the champions league. A less than average club pumped full of millions upon millions of Arab money until they win the the champions league…is that really an achievement or just an inevitability.

It's like playing a first person shooter against some * with an aimbot. Wheres the fun, sense of achievement. There's none. Cheat code football.

Not a fan of Man City, but to beat real in that manner is astonishing.

It’s more an embarrassment it’s taken them this long to get this close. Inevitability yes but it just shows how badly football has been made pointless by the money involved with no penalties. Financial fair play doesn’t apply when you bring in money

There’s something incredibly disingenuous about it all.

Their fans look like paid actors, and they’ve been able to get any player they want for every position they’ve needed in the last decade, paying them disgusting amounts of money from a questionable source at best.

It’s all a bit fake and not as impressive as it should be. Like playing champ manager and giving yourself unlimited money at the start of it.

Yeah Inzaghe’s a good manager, of course he was beaten home and away by Neil Lennon.

Looking at how little major clubs spent in January I think you're right. Clubs are either riddled with debt or In Bayern Munich's Case are financially sound but are looking to move to becoming more a selling club

What's crazy is that 80% of all spending in January in the big 5 leagues was in the premier League, and Chelsea alone outspent the other 4 leagues

The positives from our perspective is that out with English clubs, our netspend in the summer was higher than many clubs in Europe, this should give us some confidence to compete as their is still only going to be 4 English clubs in champions league next year

You wonder what the real Man City fans make of this. Of course they will be enjoying the ride but the heart and soul of the club is gone.

Embarrassing coverage, City have the best team and biggest budget by a * mile so painting this out to be some sort of astonishing achievement is miles off. BT pundits and commentators really are the worst.

Would * love Inter to do them in the final, a proper club with proper history and standing in the game unlike these *. Them flags they pulled out at the end :52::52::52:

I don't get the mass outrage at City being able to pay players obscene amounts. It's been happening in football for years with ALL the big clubs. I hate that football has turned into this too, but unless there are sweeping changes within FIFA/UEFA it will NEVER change. Looking at salarysport.com for both Man City v Real and there is very little difference between the 2 re weekly wages. How accurate it is I don't know.

Also, Real are the rangers of Spain. * establishment club.

You’d think this will be as one sided a European cup final we’ll ever see. English football (particularly Man City) will dominate European football for years to come, that’s my prediction, far too much money in that league the likes of Barca,Bayern etc can’t compete. Ruining European football this crap.

Yes Man City are financially doping * but anyone taking credit away from Pep is talking out their *. The best managers are always going to go to the biggest clubs with the biggest budgets. Guardiola is a top manager and has built sensational teams everywhere he's went.
