I made a blunder, Adrian, was reading too many of they Adian/Karius jokes on twitter

3 kind of weak shots, first he was in mid air jumping pointlessly as the guy hit it meaning he was to slow to dive and never got anywhere near a shot that wasn't even that powerful or well placed. 2nd he made the blunder then got done at his near post, probably panicking and not thinking straight, poor positioning and same with the 3rd he should have closed off the near post and forced the guy to shoot across him but he left a big gap and got done again.

Big Fraser would have had a clean sheet.

 

Cannot stand listening to Steve McManaman. Wish BT would stop giving him air time.

 

Him and "Fletch" are awful, abysmal.. Seriously some of the most jarring commentary I've heard in a while and that's saying something

When BT took over the CL, originally it was weird but kind of a breath of fresh air.. But I'm sick of it now. The old champions league nights on ITV and Sky will never be topped.

Anyway I'm glad Liverpool's bubble burst, they are a quite an unlikeable team (apart from Virgil who does also have that air of dutch superiority about him) and Klopp is a * too. Robertson is a wee * on the pitch but has changed since he went to Liverpool.

 

I prefer BT's coverage to Sky and ITV, just not the aforementioned deluded *.

 

BT is far better than Sky. I’d take BT and ITV but it’s class having all the games in one place. I think BT isn’t the problem, it’s purely the people. Big Rio is fine, Michael Owen and Steve McManaman are brutal.

 

I don't really like Ferdinand either, plays it too safe and doesnt really add anything. Owen, McManaman etc as said all wanks even Jenas.

Sky definitely is a cut above with Carragher, Neville and Keane, really good to watch them on weekend games and Monday Night Football although I don't like their commentators either, hate that old * Tyler and I dont like Neville on commentary, prefer him in the studio.

Crouch is just about the only decent thing about BT’s coverage of English football. The Goals Show is it’s best content by a distance.

Jake Humphrey is insufferable.

 

Neville and Carragher are the only decent pundits because they’re the only ones who actually discuss tactics and break * down.

The rest just talk about controversial refereeing decisions or howlers from players.

 

Ajax, Spurs and Liverpool are now all out of Europe (I didn't write it very well).
Just watched highlights, very quick to blame the keeper was McManaman. The 1st one was a * up but there was plenty of defenders around to try and fix it but they just stood there. He blamed the other 2 on him but Atletico tore the defence apart and they were good finishes.
As Valhalla said they peaked when other teams were in transition, a bit like Leicester I think. Within 2 years they will be nowhere near the title.
As many have said Robertson is not as good as made out. I believe a fit Tierney is the superior defender.

 

I’d imagine PSG are fuming at Kurzawa. What a *.
