I don't think either are the best for me, but that's just my opinion.

Kinda find it a bit childish though, especially more the people who like Messi more, they seem offended if someone prefers Ronaldo, ffs, just look at his record.

Think if Ronaldo wasn't so much of an * at times some people would look at it different.

    They wouldn't..

He's just better. Think most people acknowledge that..

Ronaldo is also phenomenal and I'm no a hater. Messi is just an unbelievable footballer though. A magician..

You'd take Ronaldo to play the last 10 because Messi would be playing the first 80 :giggle1:

Maybe a few but doubt many would.

Might be wrong but it tends to just be ex-Man Utd or EPL snobs, out of former players, who side with Ronaldo in the debate. Pretty much every neutral goes with Messi.

I agree it's a bit of a silly debate, but in my opinion it shouldn't even be one. I just don't see where Ronaldo beats Messi, other than scoring headers.

Must be depressing for their fans. Messi, Neymar, Suarez, David Villa, Henry, Ronaldinho, Eto'o, and even Alexis Sanchez. All of those attackers in the recent past.

Now their experienced players up top are Braithwaite, De Jong and Depay. The first two wouldn't look out of place at Brighton or Watford.

Got no sympathy for club, though. Spunked hundreds of millions on players who have done nothing.

It's the same the other way round aswell, people are offended that someone prefers Messi over Ronaldo

I used to get very much involved in the “who’s better” debate between Mess and Ronaldo.

My answer was always Messi, but now I can’t even be arsed with the debate. They are - and have been - two completely different players from each other for years, and are only getting more different.

When both are retired, the only thing i’ll be thinking about is having the utter privilege to have watched both these guys make their debuts as footballers, and been blessed to have been able to be of age where I’ve watched them grow in to superstars, global icons and now (and always) legends of the game as the best two players to have ever lived.

    Priceless.

Hendry has done very well since leaving us tbf to the lad. Playing for one of the top clubs in Belgium, regular in the national squads now playing CL football something we could only dream of right now. Not gonna be very fun for him tonight but any defender in the world would have a hard time against them 3 lol.
