    Even getting a point against the top 2 will be difficult.

    We will beat Anderlecht at home and anything could happen away. They aren't in great form.

    Surprised to see a lot of.people in here giving in to psg and bayern before a ball is kicked even at home, and this being a great year for our team under one of the best managers in the game ,they may ,but if they do they will be made to work really hard for it and will probably have deserved it ,I'm gonna stick my neck out and say we wont be beaten at home .

    No-one is giving in but if we are taking our tinted specs aff there is no getting away from the fact that it will need to be a combination of a few things for us to get something off either of them.

    I'm going into those games not expecting anything which is the best way to be. As long as we make a good showing and give them a game, as we can definitely get at them. The defence is what worries me, facing 2 real world class attacks.

    If we don't give away silly goals then theirs a chance as a celtic fan that's what it's alway came down to unforced errors only tine I have seen us get beat and it wasn't down to stupid mistakes was against Barcelona.

    I think we will do better than most people think, would be happy to get into last 16 but would prefer getting third for the Europa League as it will be more competive for us and can see us going far. I think the Champions League is overated and its just become a franchise tournament that does not excite me anymore. Getting the money the Champions League offers Celtic is important, but i would rather see us competing with clubs our level instead of playing oil dollar teams with * fans who 9 times out of 10 will rip us apart. Europa League is where the real heart of football is and where heroes and success storys are made.

    Anyone else wishing we still had Chico at this point? With everyone fit, he wouldn't make our first team these days, but excellent cover for enough positions (especially CB, LB and LM) that he'd get game time.

    He'd not half come in handy right now.

    PSG Home: Celtic 2-4 PSG
    PSG Away: PSG 5-1 Celtic
    Anderlecht Home: Celtic 3-1 Anderlecht
    Anderlecht Away: Anderlecht 3-2 Celtic
    Bayern Home: Celtic 1-3 Bayern
    Bayern Away: Bayern 4-1 Celtic

    Celtic and Anderlecht to both finish on 3 points, Celtic to clinch 3rd with a dramatic win on Matchday 6.

    I think overall we have a good chance of finishing 3rd and then having a good run in the Europa . One game at a time though as don't want to get carried away. However if Brendan gets the defence right against PSG I think we have more that a good chance of getting something out of it. Yes they do have the most expensive players going around at the moment but they will not have had time to play much competitive games together. We have the same players from last season, settled and all starting to hit form. A score draw at home in the opening game is achievable (1-1), with a wee bit of luck I think we may get a 2-1 win!!

    Our draw is going to benefit us in that our younger players will be playing the same teams under 20s and development squads.
    That can only benefit us in the long run and improve even more our youth academy player's skills.

    They are only the most expensive player because that's what they were willing to pay for them in no way is neymar worth that amount their is player out their I'd rather have like who are worth a quarter of what they paid
