Really expecting 6 points against Anderlecht, they are truly rotten. Don't score enough goals.

Rely very heavily on Łukasz Teodorczyk to score their goals (30 last season).

They might have won the Belgian league last season, but only just. 2 points ahead of Club Brugge in the 'regular' 30 game season, then played 10 matches in the 'play off' league, winning 6 games.

They are 11th this season after 5 league games with 5 points.

Henry Onyekuru, a player a lot of us on here are familiar with, is at them this season on loan from Everton. He's yet to score in 5 appearances.

I really don't fancy our chances against PSG or Bayer but I'd savour wins against PSG far more.

Not that this will happen.. but I really hope Gamboa is being looked at a bit more right now and has the potentiality of playing against PSG in a few weeks. I know Lustig is far more sound defensively but Neymar is going to absolutely shred him with his pace. Gamboa has pace for days and can get up and down the line in attack as well- definitely the type of player for this kind of match in my opinion. Stick him on Neymar as a solo assignment and don't let him get goal side.

At the moment it certainly looks like if he was really wanting to contain him then the change we made after half time at Astana, bringing on Ralston for Forrest and moving Lustig a bit more central seems like the way he will be going. That said, Gamboa was on the bench for that game. So who knows. I just hope BR gets it right from the start, because if he doesn't, it will probably be Wee Paddy that's sacrificed just after half time if it starts going pear shaped.

You're probably right.. and while Ralston has certainly impressed thusfar I just can't really say I trust him in Europe against some of the top talents in the world. With Gamboa you're at least getting a 27 year old Costa Rican international with 52 caps and the physical tools/experience to not get embarrassed. Maybe I'm just disappointed that we haven't seen more of him, was hoping he'd eventually slot in to be the natural heir to Lustig at RB.

Well that's it, I don't think there is a Celtic fan that wouldn't want to see Gamboa boss him and really fight for that spot, which on paper should be his, but the fact that he is being constantly overly looked means that I'm more concerned about his attitude (like you say, on paper, he has the pedigree) behind the scenes. I'm hoping now that he realises that he is third choice, he might gain the motivation to knuckle down and dig deep for the club but it seems like it was something he struggled with under Tony Pulis.

So have PSG definitely signed Mbappe?
Read he's going on loan first to get around UEFA or fifa regulations?!
Jesus, that front 3 would scare the * out of any defender.
    Neymar, Mpabbe, Cavani

Think I'll be watching this one from behind the couch.

Tierney will murder that wee slapper, MBappe.

Lustig will kick * out of Neymar.

Bitton will pull his foreskin out of his pocket, and strangle Cavani to death with it. Like a dirty hula hoop.

Our defence gives me the fear.

We can hurt teams, but looking at the defence we're taking a big step up over Astana, with all 3 teams.

For that reason my 6 games results (Celtic score 1st):

    PSG h - 1-3. a - 0-3
    Bayern h - 0-2. a - 0-5
    Anderlecht h - 3-2. a - 0-3

I think whoever takes a point from the top 2 will take 3rd spot. I think we'll take 3 points at best, or maybe 1 from home against Anderlecht, 1-1. Cant see a point from away games at all.

    Heres hoping I'm just a pessimistic *.

We should be relishing this but it is going to be * painful if we can't get our first choice centre backs fit.

So with outer first choice team all back you think we'll get smashed 3-0 by anderlecht, and draw at home? Pretty sure the deila team could do better ffs.

    PSG Home +3 points
    PSG Away 0 points
    Bayern Home 1 point
    Bayern Away 0 points
    Anderlecht Home 3 points
    Anderlecht Away 3 points

That's my optimistic prediction finishing with 10 points
    Bayern to top the Group
Between us and PSG for 2nd if they get deducted 3 points
    Anderlecht last
