The chances are that PSG will beat us twice, but ..........

Although they are deadly going forward with di Maria, Cavani, Draxler, Neymar, and possibly Mbappe by the time we play them; and they have Veratti and Rabiot in midfield pulling the strings (both of whom I really rate); they are vulnerable at the back.

If (and yes it's a big if) we can get at them, with a vociferous crowd behind us; they have shown at Barca last season, that they are mentally fragile and can wilt under pressure.

Wouldn't mind so much if they were really making quality signings to improve the squad, especially for the champions league. Getting Paddy on a permanent deal, adding a quality CB who will walk straight into the starting line up etc.

But they haven't done that and it's no wonder the fans are raging with the prices.

Well...I honestly dont see anything special at all from this lot...we should take heart from this.....dont be frightened of the name.

Play our game away and defend, make them work for their win rather than gift them it.....At home we should be capable of getting a draw or more imo...based on this

early days for Qatar FC lads....and more players to be added yet. Let's hope it takes them a couple of months to gel. Individual basis on paper they're scary tbh! But not as scary as CP for them on a Euro night!

St Etienne have Saidy * Janko at RB. We surely have nothing to fear.

They are no 2012 Barca, put it that way. Even their wee tricks and flicks are hit and miss.

Been watching Janko exclusively for the last 10/15 minutes. He is * rotten. :giggle1:

There was one passage of play where a St Etienne player has the ball in the RB position, with his back to goal, and 3 PSG players around him. Janko, the actual St Etienne RB, is ahead of play screaming for a pass that is never coming. St Etienne lose the ball and Janko is in no mans land. :giggle1:

Who is keeping out Dani Alves and Thiago Silva out of the team? I thought Thiago Silva and Marquinhos were their centre back pairing. I thought Aurier was off so who is playing instead of Alves?

Not even sure he is a decent right winger either, doesn't create nowhere nearly enough for that.

He is a whippet, nothing more. That seems to cover a lot of deficiencies in the modern game.

Meunier is playing at RB. Belgian.

Then Kimpembe is at CB with Marquinhos. I'm assuming they are just resting those 2. I know that Draxler hasn't nailed a position down.

Pretty sure for every game in previous group stages there has been single tickets offered. Usually the ones we get returned from UEFA and the away support allocations, and yes they will most likely cost more than the 3 match singles. My guess is they will be around the £55 mark.

Price wise there always is the old argument about too much etc and maybe that is so, but the fact is Celtic can command those kind of prices and there are ones that will pay it.

The prices affect me personally but I understand why the club do it. We need to lessen the financial gap any way possible.

If we had sky money and were trying this I would be one of the loudest opponents.

Celtic Park will sell out at that price, simple as that.

Scratch my head at people moaning about general sale tickets majority of the tickets are taken up from our record number of season tickets sold people that go to majority of the games deserve the discount, and using lack of tranfer activity as a way to moan we have until Thursday, Rivaldo will come in hit the ground running and we will have two top signings aswell all before champions league I'm confident we will make Europe after Christmas aswell, the money will go on into the club will be invested back on pitch and infrastructure

Aye they must be resting them. Haven't even heard of that Kimpembe, surely he hasn't displaced Thiago Silva.

I would fancy our chances if it was them two that are playing tonight that start against us. Not so much if its going to be Alves and Silva, which I am pretty sure it will be.
