    The World Cup was a breath of fresh air, as a once “anti women’s football” type I feel like I owe it a bit of attention now.

    Not overly concerned with the women's team, personally don't find it entertaining. But each to their own and massive props to the girls taking part and trying their * off, but it is interesting that this is our second Spanish signing (how the * are the women able to do it and the men's team can't!) And even the Huns signed the south American lass last month.
    Is (just out of curiosity) something taking off in Scottish women's league?

    Normally in my mind it's the USA, french, Scandinavian leagues that seemed the go to places for women's football, but a wee influx of foreign talent coming to the women's game here can only be a positive for them and the overall development.



    Or I could be completely over thinking it and this is absolutely normal practice.

    It won't take long with our passionate support until there's a bumper crowd for a big women's game. Glasgow city get to the knockout rounds in the Champions League. The women can do it at Celtic and there will be 15,000 to 30,000 fans interested in going along to a big game. Count me in.
