Bitton looked good during his cameo (>McCarthy).

Giak showed a little something when he came on too, and I think Johnson is the most exciting player we have with the ball at this feet.

Seen loads of Motherwell fans claiming Boli's handball should've been a penalty even though it clear hits the Well's player's hand first.

They say it doesn't even though the slow mo clearly shows the ball rotation is different after making contact with his hand and his hand moves with the contact.

Never a penalty. Ever.

 

Yes, passing was a highlight of the game.
Prior to Turnbull scoring, there was a sequence of 7 uninterrupted passes starting from the Hart roll out at the back to the point where Turnbull hit it and scored.
Having that much possession on the ball moving forward indicates we run the show on the pitch - hopefully it will get better and will become standard practice for Celtic. The movement off the ball is what does it and the 1-2 touch football.

Agreed. Thought it was a clear step up from the win away to Aberdeen as they never really looked like scoring at all which was a big step forward for us defensively. We were not brilliant ourselves attacking wise but certainly created more then enough chances to win the game and the score I think was about right for the game.

 

Not much mentioning of the latest "honest mistake" before that either when Mugabe should have been sent off for his nasty lunge into a tackle which of course would have changed the game dramatically as they would have played most of the game with 10.

Sorry no idea. I saw the game on Celtic TV and there is no doubt it was a straight red. Nasty lunge.

 

I found it. I had been looking since after the match as I missed it. It wasn't on sportscene either for some reason...

 

Thanks for finding that. Red card challenge no question for me. Happened early in the second half so I stand corrected on that point. Although it happened well before the Boli incident so again they would have been playing with 10 men for most of the second half so not likely to be in many good attacking spots after what should have been a red card.
