Our home record in the European qualifiers is what makes us so confident we'll be able to do this again. We've only let one goal in since 2011, and we've overturned three deficits in the past year.

I think we should be too upset, conceding the last second goals to baguette was disappointing it took the shine off an excellent performance bar the odd defensive error. And it was a superb performance, we made a great start, worked hard and made plenty of chances and restricted them a large bit. We have to be confident we can go there and avoid defeat. Remember they HAVE to beat us. I've no doubt we'll get chances out there too, no doubt what so ever. It'll be a huge mental test for the team above everything.

Competitively, you aren't. We aren't either for that matter.

How competitive we are in Europe has next to nothing to do with our Clubs size.

Are Man City bigger than Benfica, AC Milan, Ajax or Atletico Madrid?

Celtic are a global brand and we've been the best in Europe before, when the playing field was on a more even keel.

Coincidentally Malmo can't say the same thing.

No, we were just second best in Europe at one point:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1978–79_European_Cup

And even though MalmoLad seems rather trollish, his point was probably just about your team's competitiveness, which is nothing of what it used to be. Nobody who went to the match two days ago would claim that you aren't a big club.

Ha ha, arrogance is when someone points out Celtic is not that big of a club anymore. It's alright really, I'm not overconfident over the game on Tuesday and see no reason for Celtic to be afraid of going to Malmö. But you guys are just so delusional about Celtics stature in European football and that is probably why you guys end up thinking everyone playing Celtic are a bunch of arrogant *.

Just embrace it and spare your self the frustration.

I'm well aware of Malmo being the only Swedish club in history to contest it. The Club deserved plaudits for having history, don't think any Celtic fan is disrespecting that.

Malmo fan that lives in New York. :56:

Nae bother kiddo, away and get your kicks winding up someone else.

The way Malmö fans have been approaching this game has been a bit embarrassing to be honest. Especially coming from Sweden and hearing a bit more, I'd say I never really saw this issue in previous qualifiers in Sweden. I think there is usually a good respect among the teams Celtic play, but already from the start have I been reading * from Malmö fans, who have been degrading Celtic, some morons were even talking about how to insult us come Tuesday the 25th, I won't go in to detail what was suggested because it would * people off. Unfortunately there are idiots in every club, and malmö are usually sound, but they have been extra cocky coming in to this tie, and I feel there has been an arrogant trend. Perhaps it has something to do with their success in the previous round. I am a bit tired of it, and seeing malmö fans in here trying to set things straight and tell us how big Celtic a club are, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. :icon_mrgreen:
