[Official TC Thread] Celtic vs Inverness, Sat 20th Feb @ 3pm

A bit surprised there hasn't been a thread created for this already.

Aberdeen play on Friday night away to Thistle. If they lose that game, and we win this game, then I think it's pretty much all over.

I know a lot of people will post looking for changes to the side, including the likes of Allan, Christie etc, but chances are we'll stick with what we've usually put out.

Any news on injuries or suspensions?

I reckon the sheep will drop at least a point tomorrow..

As for us. Can't see anything other than a comprehensive victory. Caley down to the bare bones and put in a big shift on Monday. I can't see them recovering and posing any threat to us..

Bring on Roberts for the last half hour for Gms to destroy tired legs down the right. I'm calling now that Tremarco get's a red card at left back due to this. Could even throw Forrest on to do similar..

Give Allan a run out, possibly Rogic if he's back..

 

Hope to * we don't try and play Christie as a winger. We're already wasting Armstrong and Allan out there.

 

Hopefully take a couple off this mob. Cant have Yogi doing us a favour against Aberdeen then * it up when we play his side the following week :smiley-laughing002:

Sheep play Partick tommorow I think, should be an easy 3 points for them so we need to keep winning.

JC on Atlantic League reports: “Something that’s been discussed many times, but just now we are focused on the Scottish league.”

JC on new signing Kristoffer Ajer: “He came in for a week’s training and did very well."

JC: "At 17, he came onto the training field with the first-team boys and fitted in well - calm on the ball, showed a lot of composure."


JC: "A good football player. He will have to come in and prove himself, like every player."

JC: "We have nearly everyone fit. We only have two players out at the moment. A big squad."

JC: "There is lots of competition for places and we are seeing the benefits in training as everyone is desperate to get into the team."



JC: “Come end of the season, there will be players who'll move out but just now everyone fighting for a jersey, good problem to have."

JC on Aberdeen dropping points on Monday: “From our point of view, it was a pleasing result. Inverness is never an easy place to go."

JC: "Yogi's teams are always set up to be hard to beat. Aberdeen were flying but it's not an easy to go and pick up three points."

JC on ICT: "They will be full of confidence and looking forward to the game. They always give us a tough game."


JC: "They are organised, fit, hardworking & pass the ball, and you always have to work hard to get a victory against them."


JC on Patrick Roberts being included: “He’s closer this week than last week. Had another week's training under his belt."


JC: "He's trained very well and he played terrifically well for the Dev. Squad, scoring a couple of goals and made one."

JC: “We have two players out at the moment, Jozo and Janko."



JC: "Jozo will probably be another four or five weeks and Janko will start training with the football next week."

Did he no come on the left against us and bang in 2 from that side coming in?

He's left footed with decent pace, which immediately makes him a BETTER fit if maybe still not ideal. Think he'd give his old side all sorts of problem's. I put him in the first 11 as we seem to be wanting to wrap up Roberts for now and I reckon Christie will get his chance before..

He is better central though but it's take your pick of 10 10's..

if the game is just the same formation same players and same boring football with no new players getting on or getting looking in. It will probably be last game i go to under ronny im really sick of it now
