Well, we heard this before the first game. I'm not having any of it. All this talk about how easy it will be for us. It won't be. It'll be a battle from start to finish.

We know they will come to play exactly the same way as they did before, they'll sit in and play on the counter attack. We need to be careful and play to our strengths and that is keeping the ball on the deck.

So a back four really, with one player taking the ball and playing it into midfield. The best option for that i think is Efe, with Mulgrew, Izzy and Matthews.

Then Scott Brown with Ledley on one side Commons on the other

Balde spearheads the attack with Boerrigter and Stokes sitting in front of the midfield,
The other option would be adding Kayal to the middle of midfield and sacrificing an attacker.

 

Very important to pick big Derk imo. His pace and angles of running will give them huge problems. Need to get players attacking thru the middle as well as down the wings. Late runs from midfielders into the box. I think we will do it. The players must believe and convert chances. Two strikers, plus four midfielders wanting to control the ball. League game, Saturday should be used as a warm up with same team for Wed. played again imo. Control the ball, make chances and take them. 4-4-2 attacking, leave nothing behind, huge effort needed.

 

If we score an early goal then I think they'll crumble, we made them look way better than they are.

 

First time i've posted on this thread...i hate goin' into the unknown and that 2 nil defeat bore that fear out.I never knew what to expect so i never posted until now.
Having seen the opposition my fears have lessend...i feel we're capable of turning this around but Lenny will need to get his selection right and the players MUST all play to their max on the night.
Our defence is my worry though..a clean sheet is almost a must.

3 or 4-1 on the night...hopefully the latter

It will be a battle but this is a whole different ball game to the first leg - excuse the pun.

We're playing at Celtic Park, we're playing on grass, we know what we're dealing with now. We know we have to score goals, the players and the manager know that they have to step up and be counted, and it's our opponents who will have to travel the breadth of Europe to play in the loudest venue in world football.

I know that we can do it.

This Shaktar side would struggle in the SPL, if we don't make it past these we don't deserve Champions League football, simple as that.

I'm still confident we'll progress, but if we don't we've got nobody to blame but ourselves. The board and the management will have a lot of questions to answer.

Not confident at all we will keep the back door shut though. Could be in for one * of a night. 5-2 or something crazy like that.

Imagine 3-0 5 mins to go and they score.. 2 minutes into injury time and BAM!!! big sammy over head kick again! The place would go into meltdown! Although i hope its 4-0 so i dont need to panic going into the final 10
