Like anyone of us I was gutted watching that game yesterday. We all knew the run would come to an end some time though although the way it did yesterday was a tough one to take. But that is what happened and we have to move on and move on quickly as we still have 4 games left over the next couple of weeks which give us an opportunity to make sure that was a mere blip yesterday.
Having said that the performance level needs to go up quite a few levels this week starting on Wednesday. Hopefully the fact we are at home and the pitch will obviously be much better will help. I would not be going crazy and making wholesale changes to the team Wednesday. Yes we need a few changes but nothing drastic. Ajer and Biton can come in at the back in the middle of the defense. Maybe make one or 2 other changes but that would be it for me.
Wednesday will be all about a big performance and reaction from everyone team, manager and us as fans. It is never easy but certainly when things are going well it is a lot more comfortable for everyone. It is after days like Sunday that we find the measure of just who teams and players are. This is a really good team who have already created some amazing history but now they need to dig in deeply and overcome a really tough disappointment because there is so much more they can achieve but as Sunday showed it will not be easy and nothing is a given.

 

This game can’t come soon enough.

Never take anything for granted but a game at home against bottom of the league is a perfect opportunity to respond. This is a Partick team that have conceded almost 2 goals a game on average. Some players have been coasting for weeks and I think the starting XI needs a shake-up.

I'm aware some of these players have been out in the cold for whatever reason but if fit/available I'd look to play a similar team to the one above. With Aberdeen on Saturday it is unlikely that Simunovic will play, in poor form anyway. We'll surely be fired up though

I don't think we'll drop another point now before the winter break..

You can bet the player's and management would've been hurting and feeling annoyed at the reaction across the board but also a relief to get back out and play with a bit more freedom now it's over. Determination will be back for me now..

This will be our 35th competitive game of the season. Give the fringe players a game to freshen things up.

 

Not overly keen on drastic changes to a starting 11 but half our team looked dead on our feet sunday.

Take away Hayes and put in Miller or Johnstone? Haven't seen Miller ina while and he always puts a good shift in, better than Hayes imo

* me mate, whats that lineup? 1-1-1-1? I know we have to put Scottish football back in it's place but I wouldn't omit 7 players.

 

I know partick are really poor this year,but i was at the two games against them at home last season,one was a draw and narrow win,partick played really well both games.But on the other hand there not same team that made top six last year,they have regressd,and are bottom this year.This should be interesting tommorrow,lets see how we react.2-0 celtic.
