    Been more hyped for this than the game tonight. Please get the result Celtic, make it 2 in a row in the league cup going on 3 hopefully. If we win it will take us to 17 league cups overall, would love Brendan to get us to 20 before he leaves.

    Real test of character now on Sunday. Tonight was very bruising and a loss was expected but that was horrible to be on the end of. Brendan will have the team prepared though and still convinced we'll win comfortably and in style.

    I can assure you of one thing, Motherwell will not stand off of us like we did to PSG. If you want to see how a team which costs much less applies itself in a contest then watch this mob. County gave us a physical game last week without resorting to brutality - just kept the pressure on us and marked our players

    I really hope our bhoys give us a top class performance - the showing in Paris was well below par

    It's easy in theory to say that. PSG are outstanding both in an athletic and technical sense.

    Any time we attempted to close them down they flicked it round the houses and were now in acres of space left by the players who had attempted to close them down. Celtic do this at a domestic level (see 5-0 title winning victory at Tynecastle last season or 5-1 thumping of Sevco at the shithole) both games they tried to get close to us and couldn't due to our play.

    Motherwell will try play their game of course but if they press high and we're anywhere near what we're capable of, we'll trounce them.

    Anyone else see right through Cadden and Hartley's attitudes to the game? It's pure pantomime *. As if they've been advised to be the picture of confidence.

    Not buying it, they are acting like hard men, badly. Danny DeVito is more intimidating. In their stupidity they've actually admitted they aren't good enough to play football against us, but sadly knee highs don't go on the scoreboard. Might want to advise them of the booking system as well.

    Predicting an early Well red card, if we are up for it (show the players their comments) we will ruthlessly thump them 5-0.
