This looks very much like the line up. Team picks itself.I love that.

Just don't go three at the back or that 442 the way we ended the lady game against them.

Stick to our 4231/433 and we'll dominate as usual.

Forrest should not be starting for me, neither should McGregor. Get our strongest team out and * smash these horrible mutant *.

I think it'll be tight as * they will be well up for it, and I know it is currently all the rage to slate their manager but I suspect the guy isn't as * as we like to think he is. Refs will play a big part in this I fear. Also our last few outings I felt we have taken our time to impose ourselves on the game and that I think will be key here.

Its good however that they aren't being talked down this time and we aren't being talked up so much to go out and pump them.

I just hope they players are absolutely focused and play to our strengths. It would be heartbreaking to not feature in the final again.

There's a high probability that they will score a goal at some stage in the game going on previous. I'm going for 2-1/3-1 with an ET victory for us. The days of obliterating the opposition in old firm games come round once a season and I think that game passed in September.
Likelihood is their manager has sussed out how partick, Ross county managed to keep the score down by flooding the box and capitalising on our mistakes. Zimmer is a bit ruthless on his chancea so as much as it pains me to say it will have to be watched like a hawk. Early goal is an absolute MUST if we want to disrupt their game plan.

And as for that tippy tappy stuff round the box trying to walk it in the net...its infuriating...cross wen needed or shoot wen needed...and please...Armstrong off corners , surely someone can get it in the box with more accuracy.

    Cautiously optimistic.

Any win will do. Just want to get in there, win, and get the * out.

He also has a knack for ballooning the ball a mile over the bar. His scoring record is pish. Overrated old aged fake tanned psuedo hard man *.

I know, I'm just setting myself up for disappointment rather than going in overly optimistic as that always bites me on the *. I've already imagined every worst case scenario in my head anyway which I wont share here :giggle1:

It would be heartbreaking but we musn't think that way. If we can't beat that mob with the team we have got we want to chuck it.

Even if they did beat us they would have to play either Aberdeen or Hibs under Lenny in the final. Look what happened last year.

What about us in 93/94 weren't we utterly atrocious? And still manage to beat them in a one off cup game **nail biting smilie**

I can't think back that far FFS :giggle2:
The last three games we started against them we started with Forrest and McGregor, correct me if I am wrong, and we have struggled.
I wouldn't start either of them this time, as I don't think they are cut out for it.

Anyone can win a cup game and with poor officiating it's been tough for us to secure as many trebles as we should have..

We've got so much more quality and so many more options from the bench that we really should win. And trust in Brendan to have us properly organised.
