    One of the best nights of my life.

    I didn't actually watch it live as I was playing a match that night myself. Managed to avoid the score and watched it in full on the sky box when I got home.

    Must have been about 1 in the morning when Watt's goal went in and I wasn't able to make a peep because everyone was in bed, was jumpin around the place fist pumping in silence. :giggle1:

    Was high as a kite for about a week after.

    How amazing would it be to see a repeat of that night in a couple of weeks?!

    It's interesting if you compare the statistics from the game we won 2-1 and the game we lost 7-0.

    Team: Celtic Vs Barcelona
    Goals: 2 vs 1
    Possession: 26% vs 74%
    Attempts: 5 vs 23
    On target: 5 vs 14
    Passes: 166 vs 955


    Team: Celtic Vs Barcelona
    Goals: 0 vs 7
    Possession: 28% vs 72%
    Attempts: 3 vs 15
    On target: 2 vs 10
    Passes: 246 vs 752

    Very similar in terms of statistics. We actually had more possession and more passes in the game we lost 7-0, and also reduced them to less chances and passes.
    To see a repeat of that famous win, we'd need our keeper to have the game of his life, their strikers to have a bit of an off night and we have take our chances when we get them.... and we'll need a * tonne of luck.
    It can be done.

    Proud to say I was there that night. Most of the game itself is a blur but I doubt I'll ever witness such a game again.

    As amazing as that night was, lets concentrate on making more nights like that, or even dare I say staying in Europe. Staying in the present as fans is key although history and great games are obviously of huge emotional and motivational importance.

    Sorry to burst a balloon lads as you seem like nice fellas but I'm sick of being patronised by EPL fans down here who think we are also rans and I'd revel in us staying in Europe against all odds as that would shut them up.:ynwacelti

    Hopefully Brendan does not play a flat back 5 this time :brendy:

    My biggest memory of that night is sitting on the ground after it, pished, greetin and actually feeling like I'd played in the game I was so drained

    Stiil find youtube footage that I haven't seen and relive it all over again. The footage from the Barca end is still my fave.
