We're slowly getting back to our best, great first half, slow second half but we were never in any danger.

 

Great first half, I think tired legs and a heavy pitch caused the decline in 2nd half and not making subs early enough to freshen it up.

A clean sheet will be a big confidence booster and another cup final, keep building on this Celtic.

 

Pretty much my thinking. Looked like the Celtic we know and love (and expect) in the first 30, then just foot off the gas and sit back for the rest of the first half.

2nd half was utter *. The amount of unbelievably slack passes and lack of fight and energy from some players is deeply worrying. Better teams will take advantage of our inability to keep hold of the ball.

I'll take this though after the last 2 weeks. Also, hard game Thursday followed by terrible conditions and the heavy pitch today.

First half was good second half we lost a bit going forward. I think Bitton was excellent second half except his mistake at the start of the second half. As the season goes this may turn out to be the biggest win. Another final, another chance to make more history. Can't really understand the reasoning behind putting on both Ajeti & Griff to go 3-5-2 when already 2-0 up and still making a lot of chances from the wingers.

Maybe it was for the added CB in there and we did end with a clean sheet but we ceded our control of the game with those subs. Ajeti and Griff did virtually nothing in the 25 mins they were on.

Hopefully this hard-on for 3-5-2 ends other than away at your pokey plastic pitches. It just doesn't suit us at all.
