I think GK can wait until Summer..

It's likely we won't be in Europe so it can make it even more tricker..

    However, LB, ST & CM..

We could probably do with another winger of real quality too, but with Maeda, Palma, Abada, Forrest, Yang, Johnston and Tilio on the books we would need to move some of them on first..

Who can we shift from that list?

    Maeda.. no chance.
Tilio, Yang and Palma.. just signed so doubt they go
    Forrest.. cushy contract

    Leaves Mikey and Ababa.

    Unlikely Abada leaves in January.

MJ. Probably get another pointless loan to some no marks.

We need another quality midfielder in my opinion.

With Reo out till the new year, I'd be worried if Calmac or MOR pick up something.

Holm, Bernardo, Iwata and Turnbull don't fill me with confidence especially if they needed to come in together

    Goalkeeper can wait
Left back.. for the love of *, sign someone
Striker.. tough one because whoever comes knows they will be on the bench for the majority of games, so will we get someone of quality to do that? Unlikely

We could potentially send Yang and/or Tilio out on loan to help them develop without the pressure of playing for us.

Yeah But will we bring in quality to replace them as they are still on the books? Again it's unlikely

Our main priority should be getting Jota back on loan, preferably with a option to buy if the price isn't too eye watery.

EDIT: Bring back Christie as well. He can be signed on a pre contract now in January.

Aye, we could loan out Tilio and Johnston, preferably to Premiership sides.. that would free some space.

I feel like we need to sign another creative winger, but with the amount we have I can see why it might not happen.

    This.

Although Id honestly put DMC above a striker.

It's a position we've routineley failed to address and it's costing in Europe, year after year after year.
I honestly think Oh would handle well in place of Kyogo, still have belief in him, he just needs more minutes. But even still, another striker is again a priority.

But again. Pie in sky unfortunately. We're already hearing "noises" from the club about how much they've spent.
At this point I've ZERO faith in them to display any on field ambition and keep the conveyor belt of one signing out of 5 going for big money to triple investments.

Spend 10m on 5 players. Sell one for 20-30m. Let the rest rot. This is the way, apparently.

We will need a striker for sure though as well as Kyogo and Maeda will likely go to the Asia Cup and possibly Oh as well that would leave us with no centre forward and a lack of forward options all together.

Overall I agree left back is a priority but given the choice of only a small number of players and given we will only have domestic football I would prioritise players for the top end of the park with goals and creativity.

I am majorly worried by the Hatate news as without him our midfield looks very flat and one paced. We badly need someone to step up now.

What's the rest of you guys think of shankland as a signing scored against us and scored against sevco yesterday and looks a better option than OH .

I've heard he has similar levels of professionalism as Griffiths. I wouldn't want him to sign with us.

We will need a striker with the Asian cup in January with kyogo and oh and madea all away and bringing in alot of far east players is being a handicap for the team .

Grand old team to play for
Quality LB to go straight into the side
RW that's as good as or better than Abada to rotate/sub with him, ideally one that is comfortable as a striker too.

Striker for me as * forbid anything happens to kyogo we only have Oh who has a long way to go.

Taylor and Hart domestically will be fine until the end of the season

Always forget about the Asia Cup, pain in the hole. With that in mind then aye a striker is a must aswell, although am choking to see young Oh get a decent run. Maybe a loan option could be a shout unless we've our sights set on a striker to challenge Kyogo.

I'd love to bring in 3 or 4 quality players in January but just don't think it's realistic. Am happy with our midfield for the rest of the season tbh.

We'll need to be inventive as most targets may still be in European competition and we'll likely not be..

If we look to the Asian Market or S. America etc it will need to be for more established players and less 'projects'.. I do get they are all projects to an extent..
