... and why is some (supposed) journalist at a national briefing asking the question in the first place ?

There was ONE very good reason to cancel the trip before any others are considered...

PL should have have been ordering the Club travel agent to scrub it the moment final whistle went on Saturday... the collective neck of heading off to the sun while the rest of us enjoy a lockdown winter (never mind the results) is a further insult to supporters and especially season ticket holders seeing nothing for their money.

Id say PL slipped up not cancelling... but I suppose he’s out there anyway... schmoozing rich Arabs on the golf course.

Think the fact that we are stuck indoors and it’s been * freezing for weeks has got on a lot of peoples *. Someone on a sun lounger having a beer in 25 degree heat is bound to get the hackles up. Especially ones that have compounded our misery of late. The mood of society ain’t exactly great at the moment.

I can’t post on here but my mate that runs a bus has had numerous run ins with him, he was also recorded at a meeting saying give the Green Brigade enough rope to hang themselves. Constant collusion with Police Scotland to * our fans over aswell, the guy is * poison.

Arsenal have asked for Saturday's Women's Super League match against Aston Villa to be postponed after an unsanctioned trip to Dubai led to a coronavirus case at the club.

Three Gunners players visited the United Arab Emirates over Christmas despite London being under tier four lockdown restrictions, which meant travel abroad was disallowed except for business reasons.

One tested positive for Covid-19 after returning, leading to others self-isolating.

Team-mates are said to be angry with the trio, who did not inform Arsenal before travelling to the Middle East.

The club has reminded the players of their responsibilities, but have since been satisfied that the trips were made for commercial reasons.

On Monday, Manchester City said four of their players had tested positive for coronavirus after they also travelled to Dubai.

In that case, the club knew about the trip and permitted the players to travel as Manchester was in tier three at the time.

That meant travel was allowed as per government guidelines, but not advised.
