Celtic team bus?

So i was looking at the story about the United bus being attacked by mutants and looked at the accompanying photo...

Nice bus.

Big black sleek looking *, with 4 rear wheels, big huge utd badge on it, tinted windows, * is nice.

Is the ONLY reason we dont have a "team bus" a security protocol? Ie. A big green and white bus with a celtic badge on the side is just asking for it to be attacked.

Some people might point to the Sevco super bus a few years back, but everyone knows that was an insurance job ffs.

Or is it a case of our deal with Baron Greenback prohibits or hinders us having a more professional looking transport?

Those Parks buses are not only * ugly but everytime I see our professional athletes step off it im reminded of Chinese tourists bombing off a bus at the Roman Forum and * up the lines with their bullshit.

Surely we cant continue to use these * things for much longer?

These Parks buses need dumped, * asap

 

Fed up saying it on here..... we get parks buses for free, * all, zilch, nothing ......

The running costs about £60k/£70k a year are down to parks. If it breaks down parks supply a like for like bus free of charge. In all the years we have used them, we've never broken down or paid a penny towards the maintenance / running costs. No insurance or tax etc.......


I'm not saying we shouldn't have a big old team bus with the badge etc, but do you know our board and how they work?

The story I've always heard/assumed is that parks is basically giving us them for free, he in turn gets the free publicity out of it and we don't need to bother buying, maintaining and hiring a driver for one of our own.


But I don't see a team bus costing that * much. Not if other spfl teams are managing it (even if they are hired off someone but painted up nice), while they also claim to be skint most of the time.

From what I can gather, Aberdeen, Livingston, Dundee Utd etc all have either the same or similar deals with Central coaches.

And their team buses look professional, modern, and most importantly PROMOTE the club brand.

Does anyone have any notion if how long our contract is with that mutant * over at the tribute act?

 

The Lyon bus was set about by the huns this season as well.
