What’s even more disgusting is they close the case file for all they years, they do it in the hope that by that time it’s opened up again most of the family are deed, and there’s less brought up about it.

It’s not just about what they done in Ireland either. The Brits raped and murdered thousands of innocent Iraqi’s during their “War on Terror” invasion. You don’t need to have family who have fallen victim to that to know it’s utterly disgusting and barbaric what they done over there. It’s the only time of year when I always take back all my change at the shops no matter how little just in case it ends up in the poppy appeal box. I’ve not had any family or friends killed by them and I absolutely despise them, so I can only imagine what people who have think of them.

Hahaha i love my wee local shop at this time of year, they’re from Pakistan but still somehow find it in them to have a poppy box. They also have a box for Palestine and i always fire whatever i have left in there.

Forget the media because they’ll always have an agenda against us.

By holding banners of the Men, Women & Children murdered by the British Army; hopefully it’ll show people in Britain the dark side of the country’s past. Most of the hate we get for not wearing the poppy does just come down to pure ignorance.

Booing the minute silence just plays into their prejudice. Showing the English why we don’t support the Poppy might get the sound minded lot to realise that there’s a history of war crimes in their ranks. That it’s not just about the world wars

I think this would be an excellent idea and along the lines of the BLM movement. I also reckon whatever fine we would get we would cover by a crowd funding page. Most observers only know the bbc version of Irish history -especially the troubles and maybe this would enlighten them as to the truth and what atrocities were committed by the army on innocent civilians.

I don't think any form of protest will change their mind tbh. They basically kept a manager to spite the fans they couldn't give less of a * what we think

This Board will never kowtow to supporters, if anything it will only strengthen their resolve, i'm all in favour of protests done in the right manner, withholding finances would have much more of an impact, but the Board know they have supporters by the short and curlies.

Aye pal. A Banner only lasts as long as the camera's are focused on it ? Would a banner have even been picked up by Sky ? The fact the banner wasn't even shown on TV would probably suggest not . Yet the tennis balls stopped the game. Which do you think is more successful in highlighting the issue ?

The banner was all over social media, do you honestly think the Board will take notice of any of this ?

No I don't. Which leads to the fans ramping it up.

It was you that said "there must be better ways of conducting a protest" so lets hear them ?

I've already said withholding finances is the best form of protest, but supporters won't do it and the Board know it.

Problem with that is, if we all don’t renew season tickets then there’s always going to be fans waiting to snap them up in our place. So who really loses out when years of away day & cup game points are lost out on top of the Season Ticket. Board still get their money either way

Also, Adidas make our kits too sexy :56:impossible not to buy.

So a silent protest that achieves nothing ?
