The boy can certainly ping a pass, all he needs is to add a bit of workrate to his game

Am suprised at that wgs must want to give him another season dont know why he had his chance to prove himself at and failed, dissapointed at that we could get much better than him.

Something tells me he's rated at Parkhead, Lennon and Strachan both mentioned his quality in the final few weeks of the season.

There's no doubting the fact he's technically sound and can pick a pass but the Scottish game seemed to be a bit too fast for him another year forward and he should be adapted to suit it more.

The trouble with waiting a year is, it's another one off his contract, devaluing him, in terms of re-sale. We're over-burdened with benched midfielders. He's not going to displace Hartley or Robson, is less likely to force his way into the team than Brown (who I actually think will eventually replace Naka on the right) and will be competing with Sno and Gravesen for a place on the bench. The only reason I can think they'll be holding on to him is that both Sno and Gravesen are on their way out.

Don't see him staying if we sign another centre mid to be honest. He hasn't really shown enough to warrant keeping him sitting on the bench.

If Celtic get handy money for him let him go instead of warming the bench for most of next season.

Technically he is really good and is a very good passer of the ball. He just needs to show his potential. I doubt he is as crap as people are making him out to be if Ac Milan had him.

He started well and then just went missing. I wouldn't mind him staying as long as he steps up. We can't have him, sno and brown all bein the most inconsistant players on the planet in our midfield though.

Thank * Barry Robson and Hartley were able to restore some sanity last season.

He can pick a good pass yes but there has to be more than that. He just seems too slow for a young boy and I think it's because he's a little slow on the uptake that he will find it hard to make it in the SPL.

People need to remember how slow Italian football is comapred to Ours. He must have got a kick in th balls when he found out he needs to up his game. HE can develop here, just down to how long it will take him.

Donati is not a young lad anymore he should be able to adapt to the scottish style of play by now, we need to cut our losses and try and get some of the money we paid back. There no point in him warming the bench when we can be using his wages on someone who will come in usefull next season. Its no disrespect to Donati i do rate him but not every player can adapt to the scottish league, his football suits italy.

I'll take WGS word for it, he knows what he's doing. I don't know what's going on any more it's crazy *, so I'll just put my faith in the wee man and look forward to the new campaign.
