I want Bitton in double figures for assists this season. He has the ability.

Aye I'd like to see that, I think the only players that are a given for 10 assists this season are Commons and Johansen though

I'd be very surprised if GMS doesn't have double figures come the end of the season.

It's funny how most people, quite rightly, point out Johansen hasn't had a great start to the season so far, yet he leads both the assist and goal stats. Just shows how important a player he is.

Think he'd be capable of more as well. He's started realising he's a threat at set pieces as well as open play.

He loves a pop at goal from distance. Won't be long before some start finding the top corner.

If he managed that along with the assists then I doubt we'd still have this time next year. That's all his game is missing.

I said that before the Dundee game la:t year, fuckung beauty as well!

I think we'll be struggling regardless, if he puts the type of performances I'm expecting from him in Europe.

He is very much like Sergio Busquets, other leagues won't be looking at him for his goalscoring prowess. In the SPFL he is more than capable though, you would think.

True, without trying to turn this into the Bitton thread, the Sergio Busquets comparison is spot on. The type of player the top teams need and there's not masses of them out there.

Griffiths has to start on Wednesday. Scoring goals and setting them up.

Kind of the whole point of the beautiful game.

We need more goals from the whole team, in general.

Brown and Bitton should be chipping in with half a dozen each season. Armstrong should hit double figures - I know he scored yesterday but his shooting is a big weakness in his game. He always gets into decent positions around the box and usually skies it or puts it wide. Same with GMS, double figures. Johansen gets plenty so he'll be fine.

Obviously defenders aren't expected to score plenty. Virgil's goals will be a big miss when he goes, although Boyata is a threat. Hopefully we can keep Lustig fit because he'll get a few.

Then the strikers, Griffiths should get 20-30 goals and Ciftci maybe 15-20.

It was my biggest gripe with last season. Our midfielders/wide players didn't score nearly enough.

I personally think Griffiths will be first player since hartson to hit the 100 goals for the club mark

The goals will come, we are creating plenty of chances each games. Yesterday we should of been about 4/5 up in 1st half same against Killie. Forrest and GMS definitely need to add some goals to their game, Armstrong is more than capable and those 2 will give him a confidence boost.
