Celtic in Europe in 22-23 Season

We never get a good group, more than likely get the group of death.

As long as we are getting the windfall then it’s all good.

 

Could not give a * who we get in the groups - we'll be there, that's all that matters. Whoever we get our chances will be slim, with the chance of a big upset, like the CL always is.

As we will likely get a group of death it would be nice to face some new teams, maybe even ones we've not faced in some time.

Real Madrid and Liverpool being the main two.

Those would likely be utter drubbings but man what a night all 4 of those games would be

 

I'm not in agreement with the whole "don't care who we get" thing, always want the easiest possible draw to maximise our chances of progression and to maximise performance related payments. But the draw is never kind to us so I might as well start looking up flights to Munich

 

I'd like 1 big team. The other two should be the worst teams in complete turmoil on and off the pitch please. However there doesn't seem to be any goats left in Scotland to sacrifice after the huns run of luck on Europe.

 

Easiest draw possible, please. We won’t be anywhere close to being ready to face the likes of Real Madrid, Liverpool etc.

 

I agree it would be nice to get a favourable draw for once in our history.

It just doesn't happen though, fate and chance hate us and will definitely have us lumped in with favourites for the tournament

Think we could be on the end if some absolute drubbing next season in champions league. As ange says...you change your game and lose you don't learn anything. I would like europe after Xmas which would be excellent. But can see a few 4/5-0 games. But on the flip side of that....I'd expect a few more games like betis

It’s projected. They are more likely to be in it than not I’d say. Not sure about the coefficient maybe that’s there points after this seasons have been added. No idea though.

 

Huns are 34th in coefficient we’re 51st.

Last couple of campaigns have dented the confidence of the fan base no doubt, but I would like to think we won’t get as unlucky with the draw for a third time.

Pretty sure we were a Callum McGregor chance away from knocking Gladbach into 4th spot as well.

dont forget Neil Lennons last campaign where we got Milan, Barca and Ajax. only 2 wins from the last 18 group games is abysmal.

 

It pays to be pragmatic in the champions league

 

We should have beaten Anderlecht at home but it just felt like Rodgers was happy to lose by 2 goals or less.
