It's interesting really since we live in league that has a poor revenue stream and our only source of big income has been generally player sales and CL group participation.

It's all well and good being 3rd financially secure club in the world, however it doesn't mean * when it comes to investment of the team.

    Flatters to deceive I say.

We are probably 1st or second in that list now after our intrim 11m profit.:31:

Pity that never translates to 1st or 2nd best football side in the world ..:87:

We could possible be 1st or 2nd on a most gullible fans list in the world:56:

To judge by their track record with banks, insurance companies, etc, I don´t trust the financial services sector to judge the financial security of football clubs.

So Arsenal and Ajax are above us in terms of being financially secure, also worthy of a note is that both are still in the Champions League unlike us.

The balance of security and risk is not correct within the Celtic board room, this will become even worse if Deila is allowed to remain as Celtic manager. If he does the Celtic support will continue to walk away. The end result being that our beloved board will have the perfect excuse to spend even less on the players.

Curiously (but not unsurprisingly), not a single mention of Celtic in the actual article. :87:

3rd place in Europe for being credit worthy in a report that doesn't include many other teams because they cannot access the appropriate information to meet the criteria markers.

A piece in the FT which tells us nothing we don't already know about how our club is being run. Would take more interest if we were 3rd in Europe for on the park reasons.

The above is not a slight at the OP.

They didn't have data for every club in Europe, clearly. They ranked 31st out of 44, which puts them in the bottom 30%. When you look at it like that, you can see that how well run they are financially. Also bear in mind that there are some *very* badly run clubs in European football.

A question for those saying we need to spend more on better players.

Who could we attract to Celtic Park when we play in the least competitive league in Europe?

(I know we're doing bad ,by the way, but that is only because Delia is such a crap manager who is out of his depth. If he hadn't bullshitted his way into the role we'd be top with a decent amount of points seperating from the side second in the table).

    :56::56::56:

We cant attract decent players - we're * because of Deila  Deila bullshit his way in to the job? :56::56::56: Id be more worried about the people recruiting than anything else if managers were able to bullshit their way in.

To paraphase 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrells..."

Is the laughing faces some ***** joke that us white guys don't get?

We sell our best players to the likes of Southampton and Norwich (when I was a kid it was Man Utd and Liverpool) so who are we going to attract?... and Delia clearly talked a wonderful talk but was bullshitting... so, please, explain the funny faces.

    BTW, the board are clowns.
