a null and void season will put almost every club out of business as Peter lawwell has said it would be a catastrophe and would put more clubs out of business than a delay to the season!

huns desperation to end the 10 consecutive titles and the media desperation for this is driving the obsession with null and void not actually thinking a null and void season would send all 11 Scottish premier league clubs to their death and every other club in Scotland to the door!

UEFA aren't run by dirty huns. Every other league in the world will give the leader the win. Scotland wont. Then we suddenly wont hear anything more to do with it.

lawwell has been on record as has other football chairmen and several financial experts in media saying this about every other league bar ours then

Voiding is the complete nightmare scenario and complications doing this make it a ridiculous statement .
Policing and stewarding all 30 games so far ,that money cant ever be payed back and will hit every club who will have sponsors ready to claim money back,the gate money lost is severe enough to put clubs to the wall never mind fans asking for a full refund on a product that bore no fruit .
The rangers had already lost their grip on the silver handles and had given up the ghost , they were only gonna lose more points as morelos had chucked it ,so this stance is more to do with punishing others for their own failures.
I actually gave them credit for a more professional approach since Gerrard took over the reigns ,but they have went backwards since Christmas and the wheels coming off ,and the absolute dross and actions coming from them now is laughable ,and only fear from the games top brass stops them being scolded like an entitled spoiled petulant brat they have shown themselves to be .

 

Not trying to disagree with any of your points but is there any confirmation that this would be the case? I know in general contract law this would be correct but somehow I just don't see it playing out this way if no champions were declared. Is there any inclination that the tv companies etc would do this?

At the end of the day @Valhalla how can you charge people for a competition that never ended or if null didn’t take place it’s a legal minefield.

every fan of every team who is top of their respective divisions should oppose and so should their boards especially with those league who have a substantial points gap like Liverpool, Celtic, Dundee Utd and there will be a few others.

Every outcome is a legal minefield. Null and void, ending the season early with positions as is, no promotion or relegation...

No one is saying they shouldn’t oppose it, but saying * like Lawwell is saying all other 11 Premier League clubs would go bust simply because you want the league done and dusted doesn’t make any sense.
