How about restart the season when next season was supposed to begin and play next season without a split?

There will probably be more deaths related to drink, drugs and smoking this week alone.

Apparently it (the virus) doesn’t fare too well above 21/22 deg c.

So maybe the Southern Hemisphere summer is in their favour.... the uk will probably have another cold wet summer and the thing will persist until next winter as well.

And Italy are reporting over 3000 per day. It’s only the beginning, not acting fast will only cause more of a disaster in the weeks to come

agree, changing the subject a bit , but a guy in the phone in said “ don’t want the league being handed to Celtic if the league gets handed to us the Huns will say it’s tainted “, most of the huns 9 in a row was done with players they could never had afforded if they hadn’t cheated but no hun gives a flying *, so why the * should we care what they mutant cuntz think

Wonder if he will hear something from the club regarding season ticket renewals. Apologies for posting in unrelated thread.

Even among the weakest of the weakest, with the stats we have available, 80% of them survive. So "not even that". This won't exterminate all grannies either.

This is * madness. Your post was very good in that sense, this shows how the stability of society is something fragile. I feel like living in a south park episode. I will have no income until june at best, and I am leaving the house in a rush to see my girlfriend in Germany otherwise * knows when can we meet again if they shut the borders until * knows when. There was 2 deaths in Sweden and 1 Denmark! They are obsessed into stopping something that 1- Cannot be stopped and 2- Might be nasty but isn't the end of the world.

Agree with that, thou think their needs to be some medium, getting people saying no worse than the flu other s saying it is like the end of the world, it definitely has to be taken seriously

but big headlines like “ death toll has risen in Britain since yesterday “, let’s be logical, the death toll cannot decrease from yesterday.

They can't just null and void the season, there would have to be a process to finish it, but that all depends on how things pan out over the coming weeks/months.

Every club will naturally want to protect their own interests, no doubt it will end up a right * of a situation lol.

The legal ramifications for annulling leagues would be unreal.

the sun is sensationalism in the highest.

2 premier league bosses in England want the season declared void.

It will not happen the costs to the FA’s would eclipse anything seen before.

the season will get finished wether it be in April/may/June - this is expected to peak around Easter weekend.

China has dramatically slowed down the cases. Barely an increase daily now.

    It’s quite simple.

    suspend euro 2020.

start the 20/21 season in mid august- September.

Sensible honest football fans will not accept seasons being declared void either.

To be fair that is just the official numbers. What the real numbers are we simply do not know right now.

I think a lot of the reporting from the media leaves a lot to be desired, it's no wonder peoples anxiety levels are through the roof ffs.

True, and the media do have their own part to blame in it all, but from what I have heard and seen, there are plenty of actual experts telling folk not to panic buy, that normal soap and water is the preferred way to wash hands, that even the act of simulating washing hands under running water is reasonable and that hand santiser is not essential - folk are still out there like idiots buying anti-bacterial hand santiser.

Folk are acting like a nuclear bomb just went off and we are needing to bunker in for 6 months. The proportion of hysteria that the general public are inflicting on themselves is nuts - social media is more to blame.
    That and sheer dumbness.

Work with a guy who went on a cruise in November to the Bahamas and literally claimed last week that his wife wasnt too well when they got back, so he reckons she caught the coronavirus - November, in the Bahamas. Absolute idiots.
