If true that makes a mockery of the precautions taken at training. Putting the season at risk for a night out in a pandemic is about as stupid as it gets.

    If true, agreed, it's ridiclous.

The pictures from Soul were mental, packed like sardines.

They have been tested and deemed fit for training and already in each other’s company. Why didn’t they stick to having a beer at each other’s or a designated home? Idiots.

This seasons done before it even starts, no chance fans will be in stadiums before March at this rate.

If it's true they all went to the pub then give St Johnstone the 3 points for this weekend's game..

If true.. (particularly the pub visit) then there will be more than one of them testing positive in the coming days.

Play * against * Sevco and lose.... then go out on the lash afterwards :39:

Was it that the pub in the papers with everyone rammed outside? If it was (and if true) that is madness.

Aye everyone was outside, but that's going to happen if your only allowed about 10 folk inside :56:

All these infected people. Not one even sick enough to merit a doctors appointment let alone a visit to the hospital. So why are we closing the country? Mental.

Because the virus has already killed over 700,000 people, and because our health service would be overwhelmed, resulting in exponentially more deaths, if we were to allow it to burn through the population.

In the same time frame the spanish flu killed about 50million people. Our nhs is empty, other treatments are still not going ahead. Over 70? Well you've a 99% chance of being fine. Odds drop slightly to 96% if your over 80 and with conditions. Sweden at one point people said * it, but now the cases are dropping away. All were doing is delaying it.

The lack of professionalism of some footballers never ceases to amaze me.

You’re paid good money to keep yourself in too shape. The game up here is still very much a working class activity, with your wages coming out of the pocket of people who in some cases will prioritise watching you play, over heating a home, or eating a healthy meal.

You have about 5 months off, in the midst of a global pandemic, just get beaten off your biggest rivals after barely even laying a glove on them in a completely flat performance.....and you decide to go out on the lash?

Would be livid if I was an Aberdeen fan tbh.

The pub in question had added a 280+ pop-up capacity to it and was asking separate groups to share tables to ram more in, had uncontrolled queues the length of the street going by the pictures in the papers and didn't bother taking any details of anyone or enforcing any social distancing. Looks like they pretty much broke every rule in the book and they can't claim they didn't know what would happen as its been spelled out clearly no matter what you think should happen. * knows why any of the Aberdeen players would think it a good idea to go there.

You can believe what you want about COVID but I know people who have died of it so and others who have are having long term complications, that might not be true of yourself, if not that's maybe why it likely more real to me than some others.

Aye everyones affected differently and have different opinions. I know people who've had it aswel and was sick for a good few weeks and I know 2 who have died. I wasnt close, but knew them. 1 had 2 months to live with a brain tumour so died 3 weeks early, 1 was 87 and my pals gran. Again would a normal flu have done that? Probably.

Personally restrictions should only come in as hospitalization cases rise not anyone who's got no symptoms. Again I'm no the leader thankfully or wed probably be all * :56:

So why should the likes of St Johnston suffer? Let them play the game-minus the 8 idiots or forfeit the game.
Any word who the 8 were?

I agree that St Johnstone should get the points but I believe the reason it is being called off for this weekend is that there is a risk that given they trained it might be more than the 8 who potentially have it. Fingers crossed that's not the case but it does seem like it is a risk.

I suspect they’ll be playing us next week with a weakened team if 8+ players have to go into quarantine for 14 days...

    It’s a conspiracy !
