@Mr Hoopy the spfl have already said on 3 occasions it can’t be voided.

We listed 16 or so reasons yesterday as to why.

    primarily

funds can’t then be paid out.
Any existing sponsor money won’t be received.
Any monies paid needs to be paid back.
Millions of pounds of ST money needs repaid.

    I doubt it.

If (and it's a big if) the SPFL can even pay out 'prize money' as a loan, the obligation on the teams is to complete the season or call final positions.

Paying out prize money, even as a loan, makes Celtic Champions.

Challenging Dundee's vote legally is futile. It's a vote amongst board members. There's nothing stopping the SPFL asking members to vote again. It's common practice amongst organisations. What's the point in trying to tear down this vote when we know the result if it was to be redone? Clutching at straws and buying time.

Just announce no relegation and declare champions. Think we can accommodate 2 extra clubs for 1 season.

Technically it doesn’t mate as the paid Gretna a loan of their 12th place finish in 2008 and that didn’t declare anyone champions

I don’t believe the SPFL have any money to give out as loans that doesn’t involve dipping into the prize money.

Get that money set aside then let’s see how much they have left to give out as loans.

I see what you're saying but what I meant was, once they pay out these loans the only way the clubs will be able to pay it back is with their actual prize money.

If they get given 'prize money loans' and subsequently void the league, they will all then have to pay back the loans with their own cash.

So none of them will vote for N&V knowing they would then owe the SPFL hundreds of thousands.

Gretna could be given a loan in 2008 because the SPL knew they would get the money back by claiming Gretna's prize money.

I would say this is probably true. I doubt they even have the prize money yet. I'm admittedly ignorant to these things but I could imagine how the SPFL wouldn't receive payments from certain sponsors and things until the season is concluded.

And as you say, prize money should be set aside. At best, it should only be loaned out on a guarantee the league will be completed, otherwise clubs would need to pay it back, and we all know many clubs wouldn't be able to.

They published the info from (supposedly) a QC.

    Go read it.

    A big pile of horseshit.

Do these * ever read or have the brains to comprehend information.

The big issue that is being overlooked here by the null and void angry people is this , by doing this there are no positions to place for European competition when it begins ,so wot do we base the criteria for this competition on , how the league finished when it stopped ,so we are back to the only solution for moving forward if the games cant be played , there is no other way , we all want to play out the season end and celebrate the winning of games and trophies presented ,if that cant happen it has to be positions and awards as it stands ,we all know if it was them in front by 3 points they would be livid at the thought of a null and void .

One last throw at the dice to save themselves from relegation.

Can see where they’re coming from and if it were up to me neither would be getting relegated.

The easiest solution is to expand the league and make three leagues of 14.

    Celtic
    Hun
    Motherwell
    Aberdeen
    Livingston
    Hibs
    Kilmarnock
    ———————
    St Johnstone
    Ross County
    Hamilton
    St Mirren
    Hearts
    Dundee Utd
    Inverness CT

    • 14 teams
    • play each other twice - 26 games.
    • top 7 and bottom 7 split.
    • play each other twice again - 12 games.
    • total games - 38 games.
    • every club in the top 7 plays the same games as each other home and away (unlike how it was going to be this season).

I've seen it touted and don't think it's a bad idea at all. Wouldn't get it through though imo. The orcs would see themselves as the only ones losing out and star stirring.

Would be funny to watch that..

The diets and Thistle would drop the Huns and you'd then see a lot of infighting and name's thrown under the bus..

Make no mistake here, the Huns have jumped on the genuine grievances of a few other's but if the diets and Thistle were offered no relegations as part of reconstructing the league's.....they'd jump at it. They wouldn't give a * if us, United and Cove were declared winner's..

It's just all hit air still for me. Just sit back and watch the arseholes keep embarrassing their selves, whilst we sit waiting to either play the 9 out or be declared winner's..
