Benfica and Adidas renewed their partnership recently. Porto's deal with Warrior (now NB) is nowhere near those numbers.

Benfica - Adidas, 10M€/y (previous deal: Adidas, 4.5M€/y)
    Porto - Warrior/NB, 3.5M€/y (previous deal: Nike, 3.7M€/y)
Sporting - Macron, 2M€/y (previous deal: Puma, 0.6M€/y)

And what has that got to do with the price of butter?

He's just pointing out that Porto don't get that much and Benfica get more.

Guessing we'll probably be getting around £10Mill again?
Would of preferred addidas as most of their strips are pretty good.

I think being one of New Balance's biggest clubs could see us benefit from a deal like this. They are a growing brand in football at the moment and are pumping a lot of money in, whether or not they will be successful remains to be seen.

Glad to see the back of Nike. I would imagine that NB are just as unethical in terms of how they treat their workers. I wouldn't mind an Irish or British manufacturer. Having jerseys that are made in sweatshops is shameful.

    Beautiful.

Liverpool kits look cheap and awful, I would rather stick with Nike or switch to Adidas or Umbro (I love the kits they make, although I'm not sure if that deal will be financially acceptable for us).

I've liked a few of the away Nike ones very much particularly that black one and the current green away shirt......that said I have to admit there have been stinkers too, notably that yellow/black piano key looking shirt which was unwearable, if Warrior do indeed start doing our tops expect even worse away ones if Liverpools wardrobe is anything to go by

Torn on this one... New Balance/Warrior are a vulgar brand but the mock ups of the kits look quite nice.

Adidas would be good for a change.

    I'd much rather Adidas.

Is there actually anything in this though, I thought it was some rumour made up by a random on twitter.

NB is very mainstream right now, every * and their dug has a pair of their trainers. I'd imagine they would offer a tasty sponsorship deal.

As long as we get the best deal and the best sponsor for projected shirt sales.

For me Nike is still the most recognisable brand.

Think people who may not normally buy a Celtic kit would be more likely to buy Nike or Addidas.
