We set the tone for the season with this early 7-0 win over St Johnstone. Have a wee look, the football is sublime.

I think people forget we played cracking football the first half of the season as well. Our form understandably dipped Nov/Dec as with the number of matches we played and the injuries mounting up

The exact reason I put this up. I put Celtic 2019/20 into YouTube and the highlights from the first four games were exceptional. Mikey Johnston, Forrest and Christie for starters were all playing with fire in their belly. The passing mostly overall was first class and the way we moved as a team off the ball and moving forward was great to watch. We would have won this league by 20pts if it had been played out and smashing in over 100 goals again. We don’t need to watch anyone else’s results but our own. This is a very good strong squad.:50:

4-0 away to the sheep was one of our best performances of the season

I had a kids 3rd birthday party that day and all the dads are orange *. I spent the party with the game on my phone celebrating every goal to get it right up the *!

Hadn't logged on to here for quite a while before yesterday, so I'm a wee bit late to the celebrations, but what an achievement this is! Both in terms of a single season, and the overall 9 - the consistency and mentality of this Celtic side over the last few years is nothing short of incredible.

We had a few high profile blips this season, but overall it was an amazing campaign. Topping a Europe League group, beating Rangers in a Cup Final, holding off a strong title challenge before the winter break, and then pulling clear after we returned all signals the hunger, attitude and quality of the side. The quality naturally dipped in late November/December (it always does) but we continued to grind out wins and some of the performances before and after that period were an absolute joy.

We're now in a strong position to go for Ten In A Row - something I never thought I'd say.

So annoying when you see that so many leagues have started back up and or are about to start back up. Would have loved to get this done on the pitch and see how many points ahead we were gonna be. Would also shut them lot up. There is nothing better than fans, players , folk in pubs ect celebrating at full time on the day. This affected Celtic far more than Rangers, but with all that was going on in this country we done the right thing and kept to ourselves and concentrated on helping others. Hopefully the gradual lift of lockdown is successful and we are back watching Celtic soon and can celebrate.

If we are back in celtic park before the end of the year I will be surprised I would also expect the govt to introduce a ban on live football being on in pubs to avoid crowds gathering

It was still the right decision. Players are being put at risk for money in Germany and will be in other countries. If the TV money wasn't so excessive they wouldn't be playing.
Teams needed money too, most admit that and ending the season was better than being closed doors as paying players beyond a contract with no match day income was far worse for them.

Fact is the money Scottish football gets is so small its highly unlikely companies will be looking to be taking TV money off of any of the clubs purely because the lawyers fees would be more money than they would be able to claw back. However in England it's about 800 million on the line, sky will want that back if the games don't get played.

Sadly I think your right. No chance IMHO we will have fans in the stadium at all in 2020 when next season gets underway and unfortunately I think it will be the start of the 2021 season at best before we see a full Celtic Park again.
