    Went pretty much as I thought. Boring game but a comfortable win in the end. When you make that many changes and with it being a Sunday evening with no atmosphere, against Raith Rovers the players will never gonna get up for it.

    Maeda has better positional sense and is quicker to react. GG needs to thank players for the assist when he scores rather than taking all the glory. He was laid on the perfect pass to score and he was alone.

    How in * does GG hit the crossbar from a yard out when a low sidefoot would do the job !

    Yes Biton was captain. Giakoumakis was off the park at that point who would have taken it and obviously Juranovic was not playing at all today.

    My conclusion is most of them are simply not good enough or past their best.

    As you say Johnston needs moved on he was once a promising player but I would now rather see Doaks or Dembele used ahead of him. Forrest is heading towards that status too, he is a shadow of the top player he has been for us. That year out had really take its toll on him. Welsh I am not convinced by I think he has done well with the attributes he has but his lack of presence at CB in a team that lacks physicality is a stand out. I think we need better. Scales scored a cracking goal and he is a trier and done himself no harm today but ultimately I think the best we could hope for is he becomes a sort of covering LCB/ LB he isn’t going to be a first team regular unless he really kicks on.

    They weren’t the only ones those mentioned above but they do stand out to me as played in the squad who we could do better than.
