Another excellent performance tonight. Really builds on the weekends game very well. Big features for me tonight were Joe Hart other then the one he should have just cleared was very good and in midfield Tom Rogic looked back to his very best. What a massive boost that will be for us if Rogic can maintain that the whole season. Still some iffy moments at the back but overall definitely a good night.

 

Thought some of Rogic's play was excellent, such an intelligent player. Makes space and moves with the ball so well when in tight positions.

 

Played well for most of the game, tired a bit but still early in the season and playing a higher tempo will take a while for fitness levels to get us to where we need to be for the full 90. I know Forrest scored but felt we missed abada , was great seeing rogic play really well also, some of the 1 touch from him McGregor and Turnbull was excellent, all in all a decent win with some risky play out from the back thrown in, something we'll need to be careful with as the opponents get better.

 

I think we're all happy Bhoys and Ghirls tonight. Brilliant to have the Celts back. Looking forward to the season, looks like its gonna be one * of a ride

 

You can really see the potential for us to become a good side down the line. It's not there yet, but a lot of positive stuff. The worry is when the midfield three are closely marked and aren't allowed to dictate the pace of the game. I still think we need better quality in there and better athletes. But for now, sort the full back positions, another CB and a LW/ ST. We'll get there.

 

Never managed to see the game due to being on the isle of white, can’t get 4G in most places.

By the sounds of it we played well and the team is now settling more.

Will be watching the highlights when I get some ducking WiFi.

Fantastic atmosphere tonight, place was buzzing pretty much the whole way through.

Any word on what’s happening with the home game next week?

 

That was good.

 

Professional performance, closed out the tie early and a clean sheet. We picked up where we left off and that first 30 was beautiful.

Turnbull was blowing out, but you can see he’s coming back to his levels. Rogic was brilliant and Cal Mac was everywhere. The expectation for Kyogo to score, in fact just the team in general to score, is so high, the play and combinations are developing so well. Hart is growing in confidence and thought was fantastic tonight.

Very clear that we need more depth as some were getting leggy by the end, very clear that we need a RB, LW and LB at a minimum and replacements for whoever leaves.

I don’t want to get ahead of myself but this team is developing so fast and it’s going to be a great season.

This is so important, it's very hard to play this system with only starting the same 11 players, but it was to be expected when Ange came in.

6 games, 2 shaky losses that we could've won, 1 draw, we could have won, and the lady 3 dominant wins.

The players look committed, its a whole new team, just need reinforcements before they burn out.

When my stream wasn't stuck on 33 mins or 65 mins i thought we looked very good.Our movement of the ball through the midfield sometimes was lightning fast and we actually got to their box when half their team was still missing. Such a change from lenny ball that was 36 passes at the back,hump it up to eddy and then lose the ball and defend badly.
Still worry about that defence when we play better teams, when pressed we look kind of fragile and will lose goals.
But overall the team is night and day from last season and the players even look happy,hope the board do get some new faces in over the next 10 days but i worry it will depend on the eddy sale.

 

First 30mins was sensational football, best I’ve seen in a long time. Think the atmosphere and adrenaline just had the players giving it all.

Controlled it well rest of the game well and could of been a more goals. The link up play is a joy to watch all over the pitch, even Taylor played well!

This season could be something special.

 

Hopefully at a sensible time and not 5pm..

 

We'll be far more comfortable playing out from the back once we have a settled back 4. The changes made it look worse than it was, some of it was fantastic.

 

Good performance and another clean sheet . Looking positive. Wonder how long we can keep the high tempo going through the season though.

Said that earlier, we are going to need at lesst 4 or 5 more players to keep this kind of football going all season in 4 comps..
