I give credit when it’s due.

Slowing the pace of the game down in the final minutes of a European tie when you’re 2-0 up at home is basic football management.

It’s actually degrading to the guy to give him such basic praise.

 

No the only thing degrading to Lennon is the way you and others ripped into him and not given him a chance, some Celtic supporters are so desperate to be proved correct they actually want him to fail. Sad, sad, sad.

but credit where its due to him and the players he produced tactics last night, he got the players playing well and i felt they pushed out their chests and showed a bit of character last night which was absolutely what we needed to see, it shows that they were hurt as much as us by last weeks pathetic performances

Redeemed myself? I don’t need your approval on any of my criticism or praise of Neil Lennon.

Cluj was a * managerial disaster and he’s the one who needs to redeem himself. Last night was a good start but he needs to finish the job and continue that.

 

Terrific response from the team last night. Really good performance and only for 2-3 good saves from their keeper the tie would be done and dusted already which would have been great but have to be happy with that performance. Very solid defensively as well. Julian had a decent game and Bolingoli while he still had one bad pass in the second half which Simunovic bailed him out on otherwise had a decent game. Ajer though and Christie just amazing the energy and the quality they bring to the team and Eduard's free kick was a thing of beauty.
