Aye exactly, I don't want to detract from Oli's game cause he does like to be creative but Broony has to read things before they happen and any mistakes he makes are magnified. Also, he is capable of the sublime pass now and again which he showed tonight with some connecting with Eddy.

That's also great about Eddy, he is the kinda player who encourages team mates imagination such is his ability to improvise

I would honestly try Christie next to Brown or even better have him next to Cal mac and push Ntcham into the 10.

Christie will run all day, can tackle and makes good decisions as well.

Good work done, Edouard, Johnston, Christie and Forrest all turning it on in spells, Ajer and Brown were the MOTM I thought, easy night for Brown mopping up everything and winning just about everything in the air against bigger guys.

Jullien looked a lot more assured and won most of his headers and played it out well.

Comfortable and should really have rounded it off with an extra goal or two.

I would have taken 2-0 before the games started, but i thought we should have had another couple on the night.

Hopefully an early away goal to kill the game next week.

maybe the time is right for us to move away from one holding player and just have a midfield that defends better, as we dont seem to be able to find a defensive midfielder to replace him anyway

infact maybe we should forget about right and left backs aswell psml :56: ;)

Hopefully this result will galvanise the club , and the clean sheet is an important achievement . Onwards and upwards after a very difficult period . It's a massive let down not to be qualifying for the champions league , but the Europa league is the best we can hope for this season now . And , obviously , keeping a grip on the domestic trophies too .

On my way down the road thought we were very comfortable and was expecting a bit more from AIK , disappointed we only got 2 , thought their keeper was MOTM (even though he was a * but typical away tactics)

Ajer , Julien , Christie , Johnston an Eddy were top class , boli was better but naw much defending was needed , would love McGregor to push up 10yards when were on top of a game

Class personified from Odosone Euduard. The quiet assassin. Doing what he does best. Another massive goal. Let's hope the rest of the team rise to his standards and see us through.

Agree with all that, they weren’t Barcelona but they weren’t an atrocious side,2nd in Swedish league which is probably a higher standard an spl
Weren’t a skilful team but a typical well organised physical Scandinavian team who weren’t easy to break down

2-0 should put us in a good position to start approaching some potential transfers.

Meling 2-0 down in champions league qualifier. We're 2-0 up. He's heading for europa league either way, might as well be at Celtic.

want impressed with them at all but they were soley interested in defending in this first game

it will be night and day AIK's performance in there own back yard

they will be right on top of us, which should suit our attacking players but i am a bit nervous about boli in a back 4

Good win. Should see it out in Sweden. Limited them to nothing and should of had more than two. MotM is big Ajer. Was good at right back. Wee Forrest and Edouard were just behind him for me at least. Also * there fans dirty scumbag *. GET IT ROUND YOU YA *! MON THE TIC!

Eddie wasn't the best player on the park so not sure how everyone can rise to his level.

Enjoyed that. Great performance, coulda done with another goal though. Confident we will score over there though and that should kill the tie.
