I remember that first touch from his highlights packages that were posted when he signed. He's scored that exact goal a few times. And no doubt many more to come.

My most memorable moments of the season so far, both good and bad, leading up to Xmas have been...,

The total support of the Celtic crowd at home and away, truely amazing fans !

Montgomery's assist for the last minutes goal away to Aberdeen.

The total joyous disbelief of being up 2-0 against Betis away.

Don't want to talk about the Barkas debacle against the Danes.

Bitton's far post header miss against Livingston away.

Carter-Vickers' composure after being assaulted by that thug, against Dundee Utd. He could have ripped him apart.

Hart's full stretch double-saves/face-head risking efforts to protect his goals area.

Giakoumakis' stuffed-up penalty kick attempt, in the last minute at home to Livi, to close the gap to top of the SPL.

Rogic's recent solo slalem run from the right wing and goal.

Ralston's final seconds Rambo header at the far post to win away at Notts County.

The total magic of Kyogo being able to kill a flighted ball on the run and go on to score with one touch - such sublime skill and confidence. In the recent Cup Final but also in previous games.

I am sure there are others I could mention but these are the ones that come to mind at present.

    Nice list @George Theodorou

Ross County not Notts County for the Ralston goal.

Fans of Celtic know what I was referring to when I made that
Yes, Ross County. My silly mistake.

I think lubo and bergkamp - it is sublime.
Many times his crisp first touch is his second touch (his 'first touch' is his body shape)
the classic story as a kid, the nets never move, he knows where the nets are and has fantastic spatial awareness to know his surroundings and how to react.

if you watch any games he makes so many runs on the shoulder - thin margin for the correct pass (rogic etc can see this critical moments in the game) to be played through a slight delay and he cant hold his run and will go offside - defenders nightmare.

playing with players with language barriers would be so difficult, as he improves on this he will click and connect even more.

He said in an interview iniesta made him a better player playing with him for 2-3 years, in turn, he will bring on the best in our players, plus he promotes everything about celtic.

    - kids see him lift litter coming of the pitch, in the school ground after playing football a kid lifts a tin and puts it the bin
    - we see him get kicked and dusts himself down and get back up at it, they copy that
    - we see him chasing a ball down at 89mins on the clock, they copy that
    - we see him use his left an right foot (1st and 2nd goal) we teach young players the importance of being able to use both feet
    - i would say every player in the club does anything to make him feel at home, hopefully his family can get over and help him bed in, new city, new culture but he has fitted in with ease and we have taken to him with open arms and made him one of our own like we always do

he is the epitome of what we want as a celtic player and seems a salt of the earth fella.

get the lad japanese rice! he makes me want to visit Japan one day

Love the way he also shows concern for an injured player (ours or opposing teams) but that’s down to the Japanese culture
Tbh I was shocked when he got fouled on Sunday and got up and retaliated and got booked…that was so unlike him but maybe he’s starting to realise that there are football players in Scotland who should really be wrestlers or hammer throwers and perhaps his team mates have told him he needs to react and pick a fight at times otherwise he’s just gonna get battered up and down pitches all over Scotland

How utterly pathetic that he then says straight away if we had VAR that would be ruled out..

Didn’t realise after the first goal how kyogo and Abada are eager to get the ball back to centre. Love the attitude.
