Celtic 2 - 1 Hibs

To be fair the lineup we had out there was very small height wise. Juaranovic is 1.73m Taylor is 1.75m so neither is going to dominate in the air. CCV is our best header of the ball at the back and even he is only 1.85m hardly a giant for a center back. Then Starfelt is also 1.85m. In midfield Rogic has height but rarely heads the ball . McGregor is only 1.78m, Mikey Johnston is 1.75m Liel Abada is only 1.68m and Kyogo 1.7m. So to be fair while you have a point in terms of it clearly being an area of weakness that needs addressing facts are the team we had out there today and the team in general right now even if everyone is fit is quite small height wise.
Nir Biton at 1.95m was the only genuinely tall player other then Joe Hart in goal we had out there.

 

Think back to the league cup semi final we beat Hearts 3 nil in 2018. Stewart starts raging when we get a penalty, a clear one at that and wee Radge Joe won't let it go. Even Berra who was a pundit that day, a player with Hearts at the time, just starts laughing at him and actually looks embarrassed for him.

Watching highlights back I don't understand why Hibs were moaning about us taking the free kick quickly. They wanted to make a sub but Allan was in the stands with his track gear on, he wasn't ready to come on.

 

Yesterday was huge for us. Important Ange gets some silverware early as possible, the players get the taste of silverware and it will just breed confidence into the team.

Kyogo is the most intelligent player we have seen since Lubo and Henrik, his first touch is exceptional if Messi scored them goals yesterday people would be going mental - great idol for young players to aspire to and he fed on scraps for most of the game.
Corners and set pieces I would love us to be more clinical

We should have killed the game off but we have a cup and we can spring on with players and recruits in, ive heard on the grapevine 2 x deals are done already, and we will decide on a Jota deal at the end of the season.
